About 178 staffs of Fidelity Bank PLC had on Sunday, called on Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi to intervene over their unpaid arrears, employments.

According to report, the matter which was brought before an industrial court on Thursday, the 16th day of June, had the bank praying the court to place a restriction order on the embattled staffs in order to stop thier continuous protest within the bank premises.

Addresing newsmen, Mr Saheed Iyanda who led the abandoned staffs of the bank, revealed that contrary to claims by the bank that they are not staffs of the bank but FUSL, Identity cards and memo of deployment duly issued by the bank have been tendered as evidences.

Iyanda however citing that staffs have been toyed with, begged Peter Obi, who is also a major stakeholder of the bank, to intervene on the matter and ensure payment of their outstanding salaries.

Peter Obi is no longer the chairman of Fidelity bank if I remember correctly.

Peter Obi left fidelity bank many years ago so this has nothing to do with him

During his time the citizens complained and said he was a disaster.

Charles Soludo also said that Obi impoverished the people of Anambra state.


So it seems you are making claims that are evidently false.
