They sabi twist something to favour them. Now, they are buying our emotions by saying "Africans don't mean anything to French people " blablabla...they are "xenophobic". Why not stay put in your countries and practice whatever you want and stop using violence on people around the world. Don't be suprise to read about a bomb blast soonest in France. If others goes to yours, they will stick to most annoying and offensive rules. Someone stupidly quoted that "others religion should be respected " and same time saying "flame of their religion will sweep France". Double standard mofos. Where is the respect for other people's religion there? All una sabi na impose nonsense on others, those wey no gree na to kill them. Most annoying of their type in Naija na say...na western mofos dey always defends these nonsense with silly killings mode of life but when Owo happened, they were mute. Guess the Westerners are the educated militant wing while the Northerners are the illiterate/killing wing. Show me a country at war within its territories and see if their fangs are not involved. Don't you know that going nude is someone else religion...mbok? Go get a private pool or go back to your country and slay slamming. 2 Likes |

Splitmind: Wearing bikinis is not a practice of Christianity but a way some people have chosen to dress when around pools and beaches. Agnostics, Atheists, Christians and women of other leanings wear them. Also respect the secularism of others. 1 Like |

NinjaXmetahuman: The Law is the one who gave the rights to men in the first place so it is the one who controls what amount each person shall have at different times, in different places because everything we do is covered and handled by The Law Itself. And The Law will never rebel against itself, therefore, it is always balancing the rights it has given in line with itself, The Law. Secondly, there is no escaping The Law, so if kill yourself, The Law will still get you the same way it does when you kill another. The only difference is no human agent will be used to enforce The Law. So wearing your agbada in your private pool is the fulfillment of The Law of personal rights and liberty exercised over the right to personal property, all which The Law, gave. But when you go into common area (Communal lands aka Public Lands), your rights clashes with the rights of others and therefore many Laws talk together to resolve the issue. And the biggest Law of them all is "Lex Loci", The Law of The Land. And here The Law gives priority to the will of the first inhabitants of the land aka original inhabitants of the land aka natives and will uphold their collective will. 1 Like |

SweetSauce: Alright calm down, keep your jonnies on Mr Roman! The opposition isn’t frm migrants who simply travelled to France and started making demands, rather it’s the citizens of the country who still hv some decency to maintain and don’t want you shameless crackheads to impose your immortality on others! Your hatred and phobia for for Islam hv clouded your brain so much you couldn’t even think that immortality is wrong and decency is mandated by God in Christianity as well! Sorry o |

Mindlog: But it’s not the religious who isn’t respecting the secularists here… since those who want to cover up weren’t asking others not to wear bikinis, rather it’s the secularists who are asking the religious to go naked! |

olawonder: France have chosen to stand behind secularism, where they are not comfortable with the "covering up"....that is the society they want, no matter how indecent it may be regarded by any religion. France like any other Country in the world, dictates what they are "comfortable" with. 2 Likes |

Greenscientist: No it is not double standard. Swimming full cloth is risky itself. I tried doing that one time because i wasn't comfortable being half naked in public, but the life guards insisted that i wore swimming trunk before I could be allowed to enter the pool and they stated a few risks associated with going in with clothes. So I had to leave the place because I couldn't it. |
Re: Grenoble Top Court Upholds Ban On Wearing Burkini In Municipal Swimming Pools by Kobojunkie: 7:21pm On Jun 21, 2022 |
olawonder:The request is not for the religious to go naked. Instead it is that even the religious must abide by common law if they are to use the public pools. Look , there are over 4000 religions out there and the law will not be made to accommodate the whims of all 4000 of them now, will it? 2 Likes 1 Share |

Splitmind: Your moniker is Splitmind=schizophrenia Human rights are as important as religion. Religion is a tool for accessing the divinity. Once religion rides over human rights, it becomes oppression. Once human rights have no set boundaries also, it stumbles into oppression also. 1 Like 1 Share |

Kobojunkie: If the law couldn’t serve that purpose then it shouldn’t be made in the first place! For a section of the users to be excluded then it means only that group of ppl are targeted! |
Re: Grenoble Top Court Upholds Ban On Wearing Burkini In Municipal Swimming Pools by olawonder(m): 8:34pm On Jun 21, 2022 |
Mindlog: If France likes to dictate laws to specifically target a section of the society then it shouldn’t be posing as a liberal state then! It should just call itself a dictatorship… the whole idea of liberalism or even secularism is for ppl to be able to do whatever they are comfortable with not what the state is comfortable with, as long one isn’t infringing others’ individual freedom or rights. |

olawonder:You are not making any sense at all. Laws are meant to cater to to the religious whims of individuals of groups, but to optimally safeguard the rights and safety of individuals in situations. So, when you say the Law shouldn't be made in the first place, are you suggesting that pools shouldn't provide for the safety of individuals because the religious whims of some might jeopardize safety for others? Look, public pools are not for everyone but for those who can abide by the rules. If the rules don't fit you, you are allowed to have yourself a private pool of your own. 1 Like |
