Israel has declared its readiness to help Nigeria check the country rising insecurity caused by the Islamic sect, Boko Haram.

The Israeli Ambassador to Nigeria, Mr. Moshe Ram, who paid a courtesy visit to the management of Punch Nigeria Limited, at PUNCH PLACE, Magboro, Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, on Thursday, described the Boko Haram onslaught as a “dangerous situation,” which needed a sophisticated approach to solve.

He said if adequate and timely measures were not taken to curb the menace, it might lead to the emergence of suicide bombers.

Ram said, “What you (Nigeria) experience today is a dangerous situation because fighting terror is sometimes like fighting the ghost because you never know where it comes from.

“Look at Abuja today, it has become a city that is very difficult to live in. When I went to the Hilton Hotel, I had to wait for like 45 minutes because the army was looking at each and every vehicle to find something. The problem is the knowledge and the know-how.

“This is a profession and, unfortunately, we went through this stage 20 to 40 years ago.

they'll get paid, steal all of Nigeria's resources, stay there, and not solve any issues. They might even plan to stay on contract for several years, by supplying boko haram with weapons to make sure that they stay on payroll.

Provide jobs for people and stop robbing your stolen wealth in people's faces. There will never be order in a lawless country, no matter how much money is thrown at the issue.

A team of the MOSSAD will rudely and brutally  quarantine the foolishness of those Haramic junks for good . . their silent ruthless streak is welcome if that would get the job done . . . more so when they were the first intelligence who identified the existence of the sect years back . . .

ok why can't Nigeria solve boko haram for themselves instead of inviting people to their land

don't we have brains again in nigeria, or what weapons or tactic are they willing to use that nigerians solider can not use

If MOSSAD gets involved and they aren't after Nigeria's money, they will fish out the northern elites in charge of this rubbish,

The JTF patrolling the streets without a delicate and precise plan to move ahead of the terrorizers won't yield any bounty results . . . it will just amount to spending much time and resources to yield poor results . . and offcourse the attendant loss of human lives by their brute reply to direct attacks  . . .

The Nigerian Army might do the job but the collateral damage (innocent civilians) would be very high unless they (civilians) begin to co-operate by divulging information to tackle the insurgency . .  . .

The MOSSAD brings the following : -

Their intelligence gathering and processing is second to none . . .

Their stealth mode of infiltrating the enemy is second to none. . .

Their sophistication and brutality in tackling terrorism is second to none . . .

A faceless Boko Haram  . . needs a precise stealth procedure to to take them out . .

Goodness, are we still on this topic ? Personally i'd prefer an invitation to the CIA or mossad to help improve on whatever secret policing we have going on. But then again, the big word, FUNDS.

MOSSAD's presence in that area will attract underground organizations that prey on them. That could be a repeat of Mogadishu all over again. Don't need it!

Jmaine,

MOSSAD is hyped! I want to say over-hyped!!

They were part of the total force in Iraq and this fact was not disclosed because it would embarass their hyped reputation. They also fought Lebanon and lost the war. Recently they assassinated Hamas leadership in a cross country plot but their cover was blown inspite of the multiple layers of disguise, identity swaps and all what not.

So much of their prowess is only on paper and cannot consistently be matched on ground.
In any case, we don't need a foreign help. For what our soldiers get paid and their perks and pension, they have not earned the medals on their chestm . . . . .here is the chance, the proving ground to pin a 4-star epaulette.

We need all the help we can get, CIA, FBI, MOSSAD, we just enter into agreements with our eyes open.

Dude try to differentiate your lemons from oranges. Mossad is not the Israeli army, it is an Intelligence outfit, so what's all this talk about wars ?
Secondly, they did kill their hamas target before their cover was blown, didn't they ? So i guess their objective was achieved.

Its like GEJ reads my posts on NL for inspiration.

Like I've preiously stated, just drop 10 MOSSAD agents in Borno and you wont hear anything again about BOKO.

Historically, Moslems have always feared the Jews, and the Jews love killing Moslems.

If anything GEJ should even demand payment from MOSSAD for the fun they are about to have dealing with these terrorists.

The end of 'Boko Haram' is nigh. . . . . .

^^^Something for all and sundry to ponder!!!

If MOSSAD comes in, in all its pomposity, what really do we stand to achieve Its not like MOSSAD has gotten rid of all terrorist in the Gazza, is it? THOSE CALLING FOR CIA SHOULD REMEMBER 9/11.

Care should be taken not to turn Nigeria into a battle ground btw imperialist nations and Islam fundamentalist.

The Govt should redress the primary issue. . . . DOING THAT WHICH IS RIGHT!!! Provide jobs, curtail corruption, rely less on foreign imports and make governance less attractive money-wise.

Present strife is simply as a result of some disgruntled elements seeking power for the benefit of enriching themselves. . . all these looting by public officials should stop!

Edoyad,

Thanks for the pointer, I know what MOSSAD is and I stand by the statement. They lay the ground map for IDF to go into a hostile territory. But do you know they also go into combat alongside the regular force? Are you aware they go back and do a exit follow up?

Bros, I think you're the one who needs to differentiate lemons from oranges, the objective of any covert operation is not meant to just assassinate the target, rather its meant never to discover the perpetrators of the deed, unlike what befell MOSSAD in that Hamas assassination fiasco.

Will  they be coming to take their Igbo "kin" to the "promise land"? wink

I prefer the new anti-boko harams group we have in NIgeria. No need for international attention.

Wey MASSOBs and ND Militants to complete the violence equation? tongue

Operations like this should be done under the table

without recourse to media hyping

Before long another group would hold the country to ransom for bringing Zionists to exterminate Muslims undecided

Please, please, please do not bring them here. This will no longer be a war on terrorism, but a war on Islam. And of course the Islamic countries will not sit idly by. Now, who wants Arabs and Hebrews to turn Nigeria into their war zone? .
