All humans fear death,people hate to be reminded about it,infact,we live daily pretending and trying to forget about death,because it make living boring and vain.But,some dudes dig and construct their grave when they are still alive,strong and healthy.Why?

Lols, it truly exist! I even know a popular personality in this country that dig his own grave beside is late wife grave then build a house to shelter the two! Guess what, they didn't just dig, it requires a lot of maintenance just like filling it with water with a connected AC and changing of that water like once in three month! It's crazy somehow but only wealthy are found of it to the best of my understanding.

That is because they had a premonition that they are going to die,
it's another way of showing how ready one is for death..it is always good to prepare for the unknown.

It is not always premonition. Being alive everyday is a fight. There are some certain age one gets to, you’ll see no reason to fight to live anymore. Hence to prepare for the next phase which is death. There’s nothing else waiting for a man in his 70s to 90s except death. You can still acquire more wealth at that age but some see no reason to. And when they fall sick, they reject every form of medications because they have given up the fight to continue living.

It is not always premonition. Being alive everyday is a fight. There are some certain age one gets to, you’ll see no reason to fight to live anymore. Hence to prepare for the next phase which is death. There’s nothing else waiting for a man in his 70s to 90s except death. You can still acquire more wealth at that age but some see no reason to. And when they fall sick, they reject every form of medications because they have given up the fight to continue living without a purpose.
If the person is question is aged,He surely is aware his time is near but if he is still young,it is sometimes premonition.

OP, don't say all human fears death... Just say Nigerian citizens are scared of it......
Other countries prepared for it knowing that it's inevitable by getting insurance policies but due to the strong religious beliefs in the country..., 'The not my portion' crew made it hard to be accepted that one day it will happen.. embarassed

Writing a will and assuring your life,does'nt mean the person will die any time soon,they are just instructions on how one's estate/money should be shared when one kicks the bucket..

This is a very matured post.it is not out of place for you to do that.those scattered burial in family compound is not the best.This is the reason why one should have a roof over his head in the village,to avoid this embarrassment.There's a saying that when one is planning your life,you should also include death in his plan.Many people are ignoring this most important area of living.
