krcboy: Lmao. How can someone's dream school be a community college bro. What about those that applied to only one school which is a community college. How do you expect them to sell to the VO that the community college is their dream school |
Re: General USA Student Visa Enquiries-part 17 by mcclintzwallace: 5:42pm On Sep 12, 2022 |
ghettonews: Community College i20 has high denial chances if and only if You already have a bsc . It doesn't make sense to have a bsc and want to apply to the USA for a lower degree which is an Associate Degree If you are an undergraduate without any bsc and you are applying to a community college, you stand a chance of being accepted if you can convince the VO that you plan to convert your Associate Degree to a Bachelors Secondly if you already have a bsc but you are still applying to a community college, it should be to a program that is different from your bsc. But however be ready to convince the VO why you are switching career paths. And offcourse you have to convince the VO that you plan to use the Associate degree and convert it to a Bachelor’s or that you plan to use the Associate degree as a substitute to a post graduate diploma which will help you do a masters in the new career path you want to chase 1 Like 1 Share |

You don't have to lose hope because the question MIGHT not even come up during your interview. I applied to just one school in the US, I was accepted and the rest is history as they say... Olunchukwu: |

nams77: No. It’s usually in your award letter. Besides if you’re on a PhD, you will be spending more than 20hrs on your research. You won’t have time to work. 3 Likes |

uist:Nursing in UK is a big job so I personally think this person has more ties to the UK than Nigeria as it stands now, what type of Visa/permit does the person have, you should be returning to the UK after ur studies so it's safe to apply from UK, go with ur residence permit, pay stubs and any other information that'll show ur ties to the UK, since you're self funding make sure u have A LOT of MONEY, this is my subjective opinion, VO's might think otherwise |

Thanks for your contribution, my friend has a work visa and he has only be in the UK for 8 months. He has a sister in Canada who will also co sponsor, because he is on a work Visa in the Uk, I thought maybe it will be wise for him to come to Nigeria to apply for the F1 visa. Can I get appoint in Nigeria, his program starts Jan 3 2023 emmanuelle27: |

Please my people, I have been following this thread for a while now and I will appreciate if someone will give me a detailed answer to my questions. I'm a graduate of History And International Studies with a CGPA of 3.98/4.00 and I'm currently undergoing my compulsory one year Nysc! How possible will it be for me to obtain either partial or full funding on MA programs related to my course? Considering that my course isn't among the STEM, how possible will it be for me to obtain a good job with the post study visa? |
