Osun PDP Congratulates Adeleke, Says Party’s Candidate Emerges Fans Favourite of BBC News Debate

The Osun State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has congratulated the party’s governorship candidate, Senator Ademola Adeleke, for emerging as “fans favourite” in the debate hosted by BBC News, Yoruba World Service, AMILOADED reports.

The party congratulated Adeleke in a statement signed by the Osun PDP Caretaker Chairman, Dr Akindele Adekunle, on Thursday.

According to Adekunle, Senator Adeleke emerged as the favorite of followers of the online news channel after an astonishing performance on the debate, depicting a man that is prepared and ready for masses driven administration.

He added, “Senator Adeleke had during the program appreciated the fact that Osun people have been passing through a harrowing experience in the hands of Apc administration in the state.

“The PDP Candidate marshalled points for points his blueprints prepared to tackle the seeming economic degradation ravaging the state.”

Adekunle further assured the people of Osun State that “Senator Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke as a well entrenched son of the soil, has in line with humane tradition of PDP, documented all SOS petitions before him as the next governor of Osun State and will be addressed with passion as one who connects with the people and their pains

“The debate venue unsurprisingly became a home match for the PDP Candidate, because he is a man with a very good and passionate heart. Senator Ademola Adeleke has a pure heart that will continue to lead his way as he has nothing to pretend about, Akindele declared.”

He added that PDP will continue to support Senator Adeleke to deliver on his “electoral promises and apply soothing balm on the excruciating pains they are going through”.

“It gladdens our hearts that Senator Ademola Adeleke has once again demonstrated his passion for welfare of his people, especially the pensioners in Osun State. Any time we have audience with him, he is always close to tears while addressing Pensioners’ unpalatable experience in the State

” Senator Adeleke would at times go spiritual to liken wicked attitude of Apc administration to the plight of aged civil servants as a sin. Our Candidate would not mince words to describe owing anyone who burns his God given energy and acquired skill to serve a system or organization.

“Any society wanting to prosper, must therefore not falter on paying agreed wages with such laborer, either active or retired. This much our candidate emphasized today on the BBC Yoruba Debate which has gone a long way to convince us that Senator Ademola Adeleke is indeed ready to serve Osun State and we are proud of him,” Akindele stated.

The PDP chairman also praised Senator Adeleke for his passion for agriculture revolution in the state at any given opportunity.

The chairman affirmed readiness of the PDP to revamp this in all important sector as a farming friendly environment.

The party according to him, has concluded plans to make agriculture so attractive to intending farmers by investing in basic infrastructures as applicable in other civilized clines, which will make that sector a super hub of attraction.

The PDP also expressed appreciation to members of the public for the support for its candidate, with a promise not to betray the trust being invested in the party.

I watched the program and was amazed at how he answered all the questions thrown at him, especially when asked about the controversies of dollar-for-dollar jibe.
