HOW THE APOSTLES DIED.

1. Matthew
Suffered martyrdom in Ethiopia, Killed by a sword wound.

2. Mark
Died in Alexandria, Egypt , after being dragged by Horses through the streets until he was dead.

3. Luke
Was hanged in Greece as a result of his tremendous Preaching to the lost.

4. John
Faced martyrdom when he was boiled in huge Basin of boiling oil during a wave of persecution In Rome. However, he was miraculously delivered From death.
John was then sentenced to the mines on the prison Island of Patmos. He wrote his prophetic Book of Revelation on Patmos . The apostle John was later freed and returned to serve As Bishop of Edessa in modern Turkey . He died as an old man, the only apostle to die peacefully

5. Peter
He was crucified upside down on an x-shaped cross.
According to church tradition it was because he told his tormentors that he felt unworthy to die In the same way that Jesus Christ had died.

6. James
The leader of the church in Jerusalem , was thrown over a hundred feet down from the southeast pinnacle of the Temple when he refused to deny his faith in Christ. When they discovered that he survived the fall, his
enemies beat James to death with a fuller's club.
* This was the same pinnacle where Satan had taken Jesus during the Temptation.

7. James the Son of Zebedee,
was a fisherman by trade when Jesus Called him to a lifetime of ministry. As a strong leader of the church, James was ultimately beheaded at Jerusalem. The Roman officer who guarded James watched amazed as James defended his faith at his trial. Later, the officer Walked beside James to the place of execution. Overcome by conviction, he declared his new faith to the judge and Knelt beside James to accept beheading as a Christian.

8. Bartholomew
Also known as Nathaniel Was a missionary to Asia. He witnessed for our Lord in present day Turkey. Bartholomew was martyred for his preaching in Armenia where he was flayed to death by a whip.

9. Andrew
Was crucified on an x-shaped cross in Patras, Greece. After being whipped severely by seven soldiers they tied his body to the cross with cords to prolong his agony. His followers reported that, when he was led toward the cross, Andrew saluted it in these words: 'I have long desired and expected this happy hour. The cross has been consecrated by the body of Christ hanging on it.' He continued to preach to his tormentors For two days until he expired.

10. Thomas
Was stabbed with a spear in India during one of his missionary trips to establish the church in the Sub-continent.

11. Jude
Was killed with arrows when he refused to deny his faith in Christ.

12. Matthias
The apostle chosen to replace the traitor Judas Iscariot, was stoned and then beheaded.

13. Paul
Was tortured and then beheaded by the evil Emperor Nero at Rome in A.D. 67. Paul endured a lengthy imprisonment, which allowed him to write his many
epistles to the churches he had formed throughout the Roman Empire. These letters, which taught many of the foundational Doctrines of Christianity, form a large portion of the New Testament.

Why the members of their congregation no dey do the same thing? Or are the members not called by the same Gospel that your pastors and mogs are called by? Is there a different Gospel for pastors and mogs and a different Gospel for church goers/commoners?

Jesus Christ didn't call on anyone to fight for Him nor did He call on any to die for Him. Instead, He called on those who will follow Him to live their lives in continuous submission to His teachings(and commandments) - John 14 vs 15 - 25 & John 15 - 14 - , until the very end - Matthew 24 vs 13 - in order to be saved by Him.

U know ur church on several occasions has come with different predictions and also changed them themselves...from 1875 till 1965 wen ur elders decided to jettison anything prediction...
But I guess u don't read about ur church history,it's setbacks,claims and counterclaims...
Just a summary of "A BUILDING BUILT ON A FAULTY FOUNDATION"...
But don't let me go into that...if u talk anytin about 1919 again...I will make sure u proof it. 1919 my foot.

If you don't believe in my post definitely you don't believe in Jesus of Nazareth because Jesus said after he has sown the fine seeds Satan later came to sow weeds in Jesus' farm {Matthew 13:24-25} the Christians were not allowed to force Apostates (Satan's agents) out of the congregation {Matthew 13:29} so that children born in the congregation may not loose their salvation due to their Apostate parents. So both the fine seeds and weeds are allowed to continue growing.
Any farmer knows that if such should happen the seeds will be choked to death because weeds will overpower the fine seeds. So for the parable to go that way then it means any observer will not see the seed at all by the time both are allowed to grow together!

So when i said "true Christianity disappeared in the first century and reappear in 1919" WHY NOT ASK ME TO PROVE IT?

Jesus commanded his disciples to go from house to house {Matthew 10:11-13} not making noise in the street! Matthew 12:19

He instructed them never to fight against their enemies {Matthew 26:52} and always pray for their enemies! Matthew 5:43-48

Jesus won't pray with anyone unless you're ready to live by his teachings {John 17:8-9} because God's word says we shouldn't pray on behalf of disobedient or rebellious humans! Proverbs 28:9 compare to Jeremiah 11:14

Christians mustn't partake in politics because our hope is in God's Kingdom where Jesus will be our King so neither Jesus nor his disciples had anything to do with worldly politics! John 6:15; 17:14; 18:36

They mustn't go about with religious titles {Matthew 23:8-10} so in the public true Christians are known as Mr Peter or Paul but within the gathering of fellow believers they're honoured as anointed ministers! 2Corinthians 11:23

All these disappeared in the second century only to reappear in 1919 when Jehovah's Witnesses organization (known back then as the International Bible Students Association) began taking this shape again!

From 1919-2019 they have gathered millions throughout the earth using what God's word says to erased politics, racism and military services from their hearts! Isaiah 2:2-4

For your information that's what the Christ is expected to produce with Christianity {Matthew 5:14-16; 7:16-18} so that people from different races throughout the earth can worship the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob shoulder to shoulder {Zephaniah 3:9} with the same line of thought! John 17:22 compare to 1Corinthians 1:10
