People who serve Idols are like the Idols themselves.Idolaters are spiritually blind, deaf, daft,ignorant and dumb.
A)SPIRITUALLY DEAD: Those who serve idols are dead spiritually to GOD, and have no eternal life in them
B)SPIRITUALLY DUMB AND DEAF: They cannot hear GOD’S VOICE nor can they hear spiritual things of God that are of truth but are in bondage to gods that cannot save them in the day of calamity and adversity.
The true GOD says “ call unto me and ill answer you and show you great and mighty things to come –Jeremiah 33:3. This is not for idols which cannot move nor hear
Psalm 115:6-8
C)SPIRITUALLY BLIND-An idolater is spiritually Blind and cannot hear from the TRUE GOD,because they have been remoted by the evil fear of what they physically see and belief.Therefore, since fear has great torment,anyone who is not in Christ is liable to fall into the cesspit of these mythical and etymological beliefs of ancient gods and goddesses they believe in.
However, their beliefs is not the faith Christians have in Christian and it doesn't bring them to come to the knowledge of the truth-JESUS CHRIST. By also doing they are in bondage to continue to do things physically to feel saved or redeemed for some time and then come back and do them all again with no freedom from sin.They remain in great spiritual bondage which physically they feel are at liberty for serving these gods, But they are not serving the true GOD.
Galatians 3:8 “Howbeit then, ye knew not GOD,Ye did service unto them which by Nature are no gods.
D)SPIRITUALLY INSENSITIVE AND UNDISCERNING:idols have noses but cannot smell(perceive) odours of things to see if its evil or good.we can know when food is good or bad not only by sight but also by smell.God created man in his image and Likeness and is a Living GOD and not a dead GOD or lifeless GOD,Therefore idolater’s cannot perceive good coming to them because the are so spiritually inclined to evil to see it as good and good to see it as evil.This is why devils and demons (gods)they worship cannot solve their problems nor give them reason, but instead they chase anything good coming into them or into their environment and eliminate it thus bringing calamities on them.
E)SPIRITUALLY BACKWARDS AND DESOLATE:idols have hands but they handle not, feet but they walk not.
Physically if a person has no hands nor feet,then their are almost useless because they cannot receive any good things not walk to a good place.This explains why any village,town, city,or serving idols do not develop economically, socially or infra structurally or otherwise.The bloodshed from sacrifices has polluted the lands and made it inhabitable to any good development.
Demons and evil spirits occupy such places and chase away any form of developments with attacks.Any idolater is always in bondage, remains stagnant in terms of development both infra structurally or for their good.The reason is that they give the things GOD gave them to the Devil in their sacrifices hence Satan claims them .Satan would take control of all the natural and mineral resources, lands or human resources in such area and the place would not develop but spiritually these people are in bondage therefore such communities remain backwards and scare of investors and any form of development.,Go to thriving idol villages,communities, towns and rural areas and see lack of basic social amenities, poverty,and economic isolation from all forms of development.Such lands are cursed because they have donated their all to idols.
E)FOOLISHNESS AND REPROBATE: You can see that an Idolater has no form of enlightenment or education nor orientation in their brain nor working faculty to receive good things because they give anything good that is left to idols.Prophet Isaiah describes a scenario of an idolater and how foolish and without understanding he is.The idolater takes wood, measures it, carves it and makes a molten image out of it and finishing it to be an Idol.But the same idolater is blind to know that it was the same wood he used to make fire, boil water, cook and do other domestic house chores.
The idolater is so stupid and foolish that the remaining wood is what he uses to make an idol and bows down and begins to worship what he made with his own hands and what is meant to serve him for useful purposes is what he is instead serving as gods and goddesses.
Isaiah 44:18-22
Idols are demons –Ist Corinthians 10:20 –Any form of sacrifice to idols is sacrifice to demons because when Jesus Christ died on the cross and sacrificed himself as a spotless,and without blemish as an acceptable sacrifice of salvation nd redemption of mankind to God it was a finished work and there is no other form of sacrifice that is acceptable to God any more than the blood of JESUS CHRIST.
Therefore any other form or type of sacrifice after that of Jesus Christ is not to God BUT to demons and Satan. Such sacrifices be it human or animal that comes with the blood is an abomination toGod and is to worship satan
Hebrews 10:26 says
‘ if wesin willfully after we have been redeemed by the knowledge of the truth, there remains no other sacrifices for sin.
THEREFORE , ANY FORM OF FESTIVALS, MOONS , SAABATHS,WORSHIP OR CEREMONIES THAT INVOLVES HUMAN SACRIFICES, POURING OBLATIONS, AND BURNING OF INCENSE OR RITES TO THE DEAD OR PRAYING TO SAINTS ARE NOT TO THE TRUE GOD, BUT UNTO DEMONS.WE CANNOT BE WORSHIPPING AND SERVING DEMONS AND GOD AT THE SAME TIME
IST CORINTHIANS 10:19-31
IDOLATRY IS SIMPLY DEFINED AS THE RISING UP TO BE EATING, DRINKING AND PLAYING TO gods and not to the trueGOD.
EXODUS 32/;6
Therefore most of the celbacy, ceremony,birthdays,competitions and mankind activities that involves rising up to eat, drink and to play are not done to GOD.Therefore it is Idolatry
This is because it gains lot of attention, a lot of cohesion and a lot of activities but there is no mention of the name of GOD nor is People worshipping or serving GOD , no glory os given to GOD.
In such occassions, people instead give glory to gods.
In our modern world today, FOOTBALL , has become a world renown IDOL and idolatry.World footballers are called IDOLS. Is it not glaring that they are living idols people adore, serve and admire and bow down to than the Living God??
These football stars are also called G.O.A.T , this acronym should be given to GOD only because man has only a lifetime to live and GOD is ETERNAL.
Why give glory of God to graven images?
Why do people eat, drink and sleep football?
People see football as a means of living.a means of worship and a means of play which is called entertainment.
It is a UNIVERSAL GOD that joins people together , eliminates their differences and makes them watch. it is a game of the Antichrist.
