We in Eckankar know that God is not into chur h denominations or even religion itself. We know that everyone is on his own unique path to God even if they are in the same church.

That is a question for you! Why do we have many names on one body? Rembr christ is one body? Why do we keep speaking again some group in christ? Mode of worship and doctrine is totally different? Do we ve many christ? Or as christ said "that many we come in my name"

States of consciousness vary and people will create institutions to reflect this. As institutions (church denominations) are formed, people in similar state of consciousness will naturally drift to that. This explains why you have many church bodies with different practices.

Eckankar is not a church. It is a coming together of people with interest on the spiritual things of God than social gathering. Eckankar is known as the path of spiritual freedom.

We in Eckankar visit hell, the heavens, practice the art of dying (literally) like saint Paul in the Bible for educational purpose so as to debunk all these fears that send shivers down the spine and free ourselves of any doctrine we've been thought which doubles as a spiritual hindrance which religion uses to keep people in check.

We ride on the power of Love instead of fear and attain spiritual freedom from doctrines, ideas, cultures and mindsets that had held man captive under the grasp of what the church calls Satan.
