1.Your Obi is over 60, as is his deputy...

2.Most 45 year olds do not run for office in the UK and Nigeria for the simple reason that at 45 many of them are still building their families and financial portfolio.

3.If you look at all our presidential candidates, none of them has children that are still schooling...all their kids have graduated. So do their vp candidates.

4.If you were Ms Badenoch's age would you run for office?

If he wins, positions will go to people over the age of 50, not to youths in their twenties or thirties.

Depends. UK and US are both very tolerant to some extent of minorites holding political positions , but at the same time, the US has voted a black president, and the UK hasn't done so yet.

But both countries, by their own admission, have racisim issues.

You want a Southerner to win...he has to make alliances.

Instead most Southerners moan about how the North is controlling everything.Moaning and complaining does not win elections.

Northerners also lose elections. Buhari kept on losing elections until he woke up and allied with southerners like Tinubu and Okorocha among others. Obasanjo became a super boss...despite being a Southerner...because of years of alliances and understandings with people from across the country....which he used to beat Buhari three times, once as a candidate, and twice via candidates he chose. He even in 2007 chose the North's candidate for the North themselves, and there was nothing they could do about it.

I will be glad to see this happen. Nigerians doing great in the Diaspora.
