I think due to the continuous failure in Previous experiments, the average Nigerian is fed up with the pathetic situation of the polity. Religion should ordinarily not be a yardstick to elect leaders because they may not be officially expected to perform any religious activities during their tenure. So, candidate's religion is one of the many tool of deceit being employed by politicians to get votes from the electorate. The so called Muslims have being stealing away our destiny and our generation yet to be born, the Christians are not in anyway better. The only yet to be tested religion are the traditional worshippers. So, if we need to consider religion as one of the criteria for selecting our leaders, then it is time to consider non Muslims and non christians alike. Both religion have failed us. The Borno State Chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria, Bishop Naga Mohammed, has described as untrue reports in the social media that he had supported the choice of a former governor of Borno State, Alhaji Kashim Ibrahim Shettima by the All Progressives Congress as the running mate to its presidential flag bearer in the 2023 election, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
