Lagos Assembly Denies Passing Sharia Law by Otvnaija1: 10:10pm On Jul 14, 2022
FAKE NEWS ALERT!! :ALLEGED SECRET PASSAGE OF SHARIA LAW.

This Assembly has not secretly passed any law that borders on sharia legal system.

Just like in other Southern States, Lagos operates the Criminal Code. This streamlines the State to establishment of Customary courts, not Sharia.

Northern States operate the Penal code which gives opportunity for creation of Sharia Courts.

All laws passed by Lagos State House of Assembly are accessible on our official website https://www.lagoshouseofassembly.gov.ng/ . They are also at Lagos Law Reform office or the Cabinet office.

Passing a law follows a well designed process which takes weeks or months to accomplish. There MUST be a Newspaper publication, Radio jingles, Public Hearing/Stakeholders’ Meeting on every bill being prepared for passage.

Also, it is our bragging right to state that we are still the ONLY state Legislature that streams our plenary sessions live on http://www.lagoshouseofassembly.gov.ng/live/

The House has 30 Journalists covering its activities from different media houses.

This News should be discarded. For any enquiry, kindly contact the Clerk of house.

This was how Tinubu denied the Muslim Muslim ticket rumour during APC 's convention.

It's just a matter of time they might introduce Sharia to the Southwest. They might not include Lagos though.

Very likely. If you pass laws secretly, how will you interpret it and prosecute offenders, when you made the law in your secret chambers.

"Ignorance of the law is no excuse" does not apply to laws passed secretly and unknown to the general public. I think the ruling on the use of hijab in Lagos schools is enough to score any political point to win the favor of Muslim fanatics Northwards

As for the Federal government that's their pattern. You are 100% right. But then I think APC behaves differently in some states, especially in the South

Some APC politicians in some southern states are men with balls. It is on record that Amotekun was spearheaded by an APC governor.

The ground plan is what they regard as fake news now.

We Christians need to finally accept that GOD gave us a brain for a reason. Christians are more than muslims in this country ( forget all the rubbish agenda filled census logical reasoning shows clearly that Christians are more ) we can't allow a few miscreants among the muslims ( not all muslims are bad but if the good ones refuse to checkmate the bad ones then they should feel bad if they get tagged ) to rubbish us.

Enough has to be enough. We Christians try to practice live let's live but they want to foist their rules and laws on us, it must not be allowed. And GOD will not come down to help us in that.

Either of two things will eventually happen to stop this madness 1. This country splits and we peacefully go our ways 2. There is a civil war and we violently end this forceful marriage.
