We vote more for personality. The problem of leadership in Nigeria is not tie to Political Parties but Personality, Competency and ideology of the individual. Today you se good and bad in PDP and same for APC. There is nodelineation among Political Parties on Nigeria. Take Peter Obi and Atiku for instance. Which Party did they really belong to? Ovo200: |

assholemods: As far as this election is concerned - to voters it soon became a contest of Portable vs Davido as they proceeded to the voting booth. Reason you hear things like 'Davido is a true family man that's why they vote him (PDP)'. |

Ovo200: Intellectuals don't vote my friend! Whether it's in Ekiti or Osun or any other state the people who vote are always the poorest and least educated. Intellectuals can't be bothered. |

Raph82: The law is not very strict on vote-buying and there's a level of unwillingness to prosecute culprits. APC and PDP both votes in this election, each not wanting to be outdone by the others. Vote-buying was how Tinubu emerged instead of a credible, younger and more sound Osinbajo. The Electoral Act didn't address that. |

Ovo200: Stop being tribalistic. Name one state that even with all their professors, distinguished minds and education have voted at least 3 good governors in the last 30 years in this country!!! U think politics respects knowledge? Look at South East frm abia to enugu to imo. Look at south south frm delta to edo to bayelsa and cross river Look at North, frm zamfara to kano to borno Look at southwest too Any zone u go u see glaring stagnation in most parts. The black man has not yet mastered the moral craft of chopping and eating. All we do is eat eat and eat. The number of educated people in a state doesn't matter. Let who has been chosen to serve, serve well. |
