They were warned that reckless borrowings and loans are not the immediate solution to all the economic problems but the impulsive nature to borrow & loot beclouded their sense of sound judgement. Now here we are. We're not even meeting up with servicing these humongous debts let alone paying them. To simply explain this: All the money made by Nigeria is used to pay INTERESTS (i.e service the debts but not actually pay the debt). So every other money spent by Govt for capital and recurrent expenditure (e.g paying of salaries) has to be BORROWED. The loans therefore kept growing, the actual debts keep growing whilst the interests to be paid on such debts also increases. We are in deep shiit in this country!!! 41 Likes 3 Shares |
