According to Obi “The affected students of these colleges, when added to the millions of students already languishing at home due to ASUU Strike and the 18.5 million out-of-school children roaming the streets, all add to the painful burden that slows the nation down on its journey to development”

In a long statement, Mr Peter Obi proposed solutions to fight insecurity permanently which is the major reason for the closure of the schools.

Obi lives in a fantasy world

Abuja is under seige, with the most secured Prison in Nigeria compromised, Presidential elite guards brigade attacked and injured

Yet under this heavy insecurity he feels opening schools is a wonderful idea

Nothing sways like a man with the power of vocabulary, knowledge and intellect. HE, Mr Peter Obi, took every question like he had prior knowledge of questions to be asked. Eloquently tearing down doubts and fears, with achievable facts and figures, with a mindset to bring change which one can feel as if touching it. Oh my goodness. Believing to bring everyone up to speed, at a pace which will resonate. I noticed the interviewer wasn't armed because every response came like hot knife on butter. Forget school Amaka, it gives joy . The days are coming when we will look back on today and pat our shoulders and tell ourselves we did it. We will, every hand to the plough, we MUST, take our lands, our future, our economy, our lives and our pride. Enough, Enough, Enough

Man with good ideas.

Hire the whole foreign mercenaries from Blackwater and other security forces worldwide, flush these guys like yesterday.

Some people in the country making money from insecurity will not allow for this insecurity to be solved.

Peter Obi will so much clear them away that we will be shocked.

Moral is not everything, Nigeria is fighting a non conventional war with mentally deranged drug addicted bandits with Machine guns , RPG, convoy of Ak47 weilding men on over 200 bikes carrying Atleast 3 bandits

What has morale gotten Zelensky of Ukraine in face of heavy bombardment

Go and watch the attack of Kaduna airport on YouTube and tell me if such number of weapon carrying zombie looking bandits close to a thousand can be stopped

Hahahahahaha
it's obvious they have nothing against this man.
the mai gaskiya himself
nwoke obi ya di ocha
mr "go and verify"

They tried using tribalism card, that one has already failed because this youth movement is WAZOBIA
they tried using fake news and information, faa faa foul because the man himself is "mr go and verify"
they gat nothing against him on corruption because Nigerian ROCK is the mai gaskiya and incorruptible man.
they now result to childish tantrums.
hahahahaha.
we told you guys before that they have no manifestos to campaign with apart from their usual old tribalism and tribal card.
they would have had an easy campaign with Osinbajo on the ballot because I wonder how a sane person will be campaigning against Osinbajo.
the only thing you can have against Osibanjo is his party and nothing more. but few times he headed things he proved himself within same party.
Nigerians would have has a tough choice to make between Osibanjo and Obi but they made the choice easy for the youths and the youths have chosen to pull themselves out of suffering from those who wish to molest this country "TURN BY TURN"
Suffering knows no tribe or religion
THE YOUTHS ARE COMING!!!

Obi is asking what measures have been put in place to get things back to normal?

You have over 50m of your youths out of school as of today (ASUU, Out of school children, Abuja schools)... you can aswell shut down the education ministry..

The country is already in a state of emergency, in fact has been in a state of emergency since 2017. Why this hasn't been declared is shocking. If the location of a whole president isn't secured, Heck that means no where is at all.

These are the beneficiaries of banditry we were talking about.

We can hire more deranged drug crazed mercenaries from any country and flush these criminals within 3 days max.

Comparing these dirty criminals with the great Russian army fighting in Ukraine is just a joke taken too far.

What is stopping president buhari from sending about 3000 soldiers into the bushes to comb every inch of the forests around Abuja.. Did he condemn sit at home and carnage that took place in Anambra and the southeast? If he did, then this his condemnation of the government’s action is in order, else it becomes hypocritical imho.

Even I have been worried over the Abuja schools closure, asking: “for how long will this continue, and what is the effort of the government to end this back and forth with terrorists?”

This looks like deliberate terrorists efforts to scuttle the forthcoming elections. Nigeria is at war. Or how can the seat of power be under siege? Has Boko Haram been dislodged from Borno only to relocate to Abuja?

I feel so sorry for the next president of Nigeria if indeed the elections hold.

"That an insane amount of wine came to the market is just because an equally insane amount of drinkers didn't come to the market that day" - African proverbs.

It's very easy when the will to confront them is there. A serious president will move mountains to secure his country, even if a million Nigerians are killed buharri will do nothing about it. The criminals are mere rag tag crooks acting as terrorists because the presidency is asleep.

Since the security breaches of Kaduna Abuja rail bombing, nobody has lost their jobs in the army and police grin Nigeria is a huge joke I swear.
