So I get the point you are trying to make although your language is a bit strong. But I like to think of OP’s assertion along certain lines. Think of Ronaldo and Messi (if you are a football fan). Messi is miles ahead of Ronaldo on raw natural talent. But Ronaldo completely eliminated the difference by constantly sharpening whatever skill he had to a point that he could compete with Messi. Think of it like a boxer. An excellent boxer who doesn’t regularly train to sharpen his reflex will never be as sharp as an average boxer who spends hours and hours sharpening his.

Constantly coding will sharpen a kids problem solving capability such that he looks like a genius because he has regularly “trained” his problem solving reflex.
