The thing is Christianity is so elastic it encompasses all manner of beliefs. A book with so many verses leaves itself open to multiple interpretations. You are right, and so are others. That's how faith works. Reason is unspiritual.

That's only if you have been listening to the doctrines and traditions of your mogs and pastors instead, the very false teachers and false prophets that Jesus Christ warned His followers to steer clear of from the beginning.

Christianity is instead a belief based on about 100 laws/commandments given by Jesus Christ to His followers, the details of which are found documented in the 4 Gospels(the teachings and commandments of Jesus Christ). There is nothing elastic about what is God's New Covenant and agreement in the Kingdom of God. Faith doesn't work as you think it does since according to Jesus Christ's teachings, faith instead means living one's life in continuous submission and obedience to His teachings and commandments, which is God's Truth and Will.

The problem I find most of you have is you confuse what you hear and read from your many mogs and pastors with that which was taught by Jesus Christ, the [b]Christ [/b]in [b]Christianity [/b]when you ought instead to validate that which you hear or read from others against that in fact stipulated by Jesus Christ, the very standard of Truth in the Kingdom of God.
