How To Infuse The Apple Effect Into Your Product,Kill Competition And Sell More Prt2

In my last post, I shared with you the "Apple Effect" and one of the factors that makes Apple sell out fast..

And you discovered that Apple doesn't SELL PHONES OR GADGETS..

Apple sells an EXPERIENCE..

And I showed you how Apple does this through EMOTIONAL TRIGGER MARKETING..

By tapping into the EXISTING desire of PRIDE and VANITY present in every human..

If you didn't read the last post, go ahead now and tear it up..

I also SHOWED you how to do it by giving you some practical examples for one business I consulted for..

And today I shall QUICKLY use another key strategy Apple employs …

But first I ask you, how do you INCREASE the desire for ANY product you sell?

Well, this is where this strategy comes in.

I call it DYNAMIC DEMO..

..which is short for DYNAMIC DEMONSTRATION..

And it's all about putting up a SHOW in the most dramatic dynamic way to your customers..

..in such a way that your customers sees ONLY your product as the solution to his problem .

This ancient principle has been forgotten by most modern business but not Apple..

And our dear Igbo brothers at the market..

Years ago, I went shopping for clothes and then this Igbo guy showed me some clothes…

And then he started hyping everything I touched with his words..

Then I picked up a track suit and then he asked me to try it on..

He even helped me in putting it on..

As soon as I wore it, he began pouring out his hype again..

Customer, this one fit you die!

Guess what?

I bought it!

And I even added a jersey to it, all because one man took the effort to put up a show and demonstrate the benefits of his product ..

And this is EXACTLY what Apple does..

There's this thing Apple calls "unboxing" which is basically your new iphone from the package and sharing the video on the internet..

Just go on YouTube and search for " Apple unboxing" and you'll be amazed..

This is just one way Apple demonstrates the awesomeness of it's product..

..this act alone helps Apple sells it's prody without much advertisement..

As people see the benefits visually, they begin to talk about it..

Leaving mostly nice reviews about the product..

Another way Apple displays showmanship is on it's IG Page of over 28.7 million followers..

You just need to visit that page and see the show happening there..

Every content there dramatizes what you can ACHIEVE when you use the new version of the phone..

And what makes it dynamic is that every content there is generated by users!

..You'll see beautiful landscapes and exciting pictures that make you HUNGER for the iphone..

This in turn makes users leave comments and beautiful reviews about it's product..

The keyword here is SHOWMANSHIP..

And it's a dying act today..

This is how to turn die hard skeptics to brand ambassadors..

Even Apple retail stores are designed with clear glass to enable both the visitor and those viewing from outside "feel" the Apple experience …

I know what you probably saying in your mind..

Well sweetheart Walter, I'm not Apple ..

So how do I apply all these in my business?

The EASIEST way for people to get a "feel" of what you do is to give them a "free" version of what you do..

This is what the Candy Crush game does, they give you access to the game for free..

And when you get hooked you start paying for more service..

They allowed you get deep into the experience..

And then you get soaked in the value the game gives you..

..musical artists do these too..

They'll give you a chance to download their music from the internet..

And then when you GET HOOKED on it..

You pay premium for their lives show where they charge you..

Another way to DRAMATISE what you do is to USE THE PRODUCT yourself..

If you claim to sell quality shoes, when I come to your shop..

I want to see you wear quality shoes..

If you claim to sell expensive shirts with great quality..

Then I want to see you wear them too..

And if you sell quality hair for women, I want to see you wear them yourself..

This is why Bobrisky bleached his skin..

He sells bleaching cream..

And what better way to show you his cream works but by using it himself..

I'm pretty sure if Steve Jobs was alive, he'll be using the iphone..

And why?

Well, you already know why.

If you don't know you may need to read this all over again.

In my next post, I shall show you how Apple positions it's product and makes everyone want to have it..

You don't want to miss it..

I've to stop here now.

Peace And Love

Emmanuel Walters

Glossary: customer this one fit you die!

It's local dialect meaning "customer this looks really great on you"
