Something about Sin especially masturbation:
Firstly, we have to let the Bible define what is SIN ? 1 JOHN 3 VERSE 4 ", Whosoever commiteth SIN transgresseth also the Law for SIN IS THE TRANSGRESSION OF THE LAW."


From there we have to ascertain the Law that musterbation transgresses : In this I believe it is Commandment number 7 ( Adultery : Exodus 20 verse 14 ) & Commandment number 10 : Covetousness : Exodus 20 verse 17 ) & above all ( ALL THE COMMANDMENTS ) .


For somebody to masturbate, they should be having a lustful imagination of some sexy images in their sub-conscious mind' data base or they might be looking lustfully @ some woman or man which can be physically , mentally ( digitally : mobile porn viewing ) or spiritually.

Our Lord Jesus put it this way MATTHEW 5 VERSE 27 & 28 " It was said to them of old : ( "Do not commit adultery " ). But I say unto you , " WHOSOEVER LOOKETH AT A WOMAN TO LUST OVER HER HAS ALREADY COMMITED ADULTERY WITH HER IN THEIR MIND."

It all begins with that lustful eye ( look ) before proceeding to psychological undressing a well-dressed Lady or man & start masturbating over him/her ( imagining having sex with him/her ). Masturbation is having sex with an imaginary superficial unconsenting sex partner.

It is a premeditated offence or addiction because it involves more of imaginary mental beings rather than real life victims. In some way, I would call it mental rape with dire consequences for the mental rapist rather the imaginary victims overflowing in the synapses of his or her own mind.


They say seeing is believing By mentally seeing nude images of a properly dressed well endowed lady or man the person involved in the masturbation act end up believing it's really happening; that they are having sex with him/her & hence start acting the scene through masturbation.


In this case to God we have already had sexual-intercourse with him/her in our real life because our real physical mind has already done it . It's a shame how demeaning this act is to humanity but we embrace it blindly .


Masturbation is a weapon against mankind especially with reference to the marriage institution designed by the devil to destabilize our human mind from having good, sound, complete and holy relationship between the same or opposite sex-gender. It affects : Conception ( some lose interest to get married because of it ), others suffer from marital blisters ( low sex drive , weak erection, premature ejaculation), some enter into un-natural sexual-relationship like lesbianism, gay, homosexuality, transgender, bestiality(sex with animals) e.t.c. & also poor affectionate bonding among partners because one is bonded to a virtual partner whilst the other is bonded to a real person.


We can go on & on but basically : MUSTURBATION IS A SIN . Remember if you break one law you have broken them all because Only One God spoke them all . ( JAMES 2 VERSE 10-12) . God bless you all.

Abbah My Father, I accept that I am a sinner especially with reference to the engagement in masturbation, ancestral-curse from Adam's sin and every other of my personal sin, I ask for your forgiveness by faith in the blood of Jesus Christ Your Son and the power of His death on the Cross and His resurrection such that I may be EVACUATED OF THE FLESH(OLD-SINFUL-NATURE) and receive His New Creation Life and be baptized by Jesus with Your Holy Spirit and Fire hence be sustained by your mercy and grace and word in consistent and progressive righteousness as well as holiness by faith in Jesus from this moment till my biological death or His second coming to rapture us(His saints) from one degree of glory and holiness to a higher degree of glory and holiness through the unlimited manifestations of Your Holy Spirit Power in Jesus name. Amen.

If you both completely believe what you have written then masturbation is as much a sin as drinking, sleeping and eating, especially when done in excess.

ochibuogwu5, Jesus said anyone who looks at a woman, does that include her husband? Or was he saying something the Jews understood. In Hebrew women and wives mean the same thing, so anyman who looks lustfully at another man's wife as committed adultery in his heart.

Because adultery is when a man takes another man's wife for his pleasure.

Now masturbation is a different thing all together, but it's like sex, it can also be addictive and destructive. But there's no place God says self sex or pleasing yourself sexualy is a sin, well the very act brings uncleanness, be it sex or masturbation, and those involved need to wash their bodies with water.

Masturbation is not a sin, not according to God's Law and Eternal Truth, Jesus Christ. Instead what is sin is the sexual lust in one's heart - Matthew 5 vs 27 - 28. Stop with this desperate attempts to spread lies where God's Truth has been for over 2000 years.
