Can someone explain how this PTA personal allowance work, do the I need to have an Canadian account in other to make it work and what's the limit of money you can take with you.

Also where can someone get a COVID shot in Lagos, must I complete the 2 doses before traveling

How do I tackle this?
I'm still waiting for a new loa because I reapplied and now ircc requested for it with a deadline Dec 13th.
School said admission processing takes 6-10 weeks that i have to give it one more week. I submitted Nov 6th

Screenshot your reply from the school where it was stated how long it would take to get another Loa and send it thru webform. They can call the school to confirm as well by sharing your student ID. In your letter let IRCC know you are told it would be sent in the next one week.

I submitted my application 3rd of August,
Medical passed 12th of August.

I got a mail requesting my updated loa on December 1st.

Updated loa submitted December 2nd.

Here is my question,
Is the application still look positive?

Three landed documents of my sponsor who is my mum
Share certificate of about 10k dollars
My job study leave document
IELTS result of 6.0 on all the test

Admission letter
Acceptance fee payment slip

It is PPR x5 oooooooh. We are a family of six (6)!!!!

Omo! The initial shock of receiving the donotreply mail can raise BP to the roof.

I have received PPR for my self (Study permit), SOWP for Spouse, Study Permit x 2 (for Child 1 & 2), Visitor Visa (for minor - 1 yr old). Child 3 is a US citizen so we will apply Study Permit at the border.

April 30th Applicant.

I am still digesting the ecstacy in the office.

Detailed timeline and document to follow later.

Charity james, 2Pretty4U, Kiara and the overall NL family I wish us all positive results in our application.

Meehn, this feeling is to die for...hummmmm

Guys! I posted just this afternoon about the fact that i got bvl but no ppr. I sent an email to all IRCC offices and two hours later, I got my PPR.
I'm a 1st-time applicant. Applied on August 29th, got PPR today, 9th December. I'm so grateful to God and I wish everyone waiting on thiers God's favor and divine help, just the way He helped me.

Hello everyone,

Does any1 know about reconsideration request to IRCC or getting across to IRCC?

I was asked to go for medicals on the 12th of September, 2022 and on the 13th of September, 2022. I was sent a passport request letter.
I had an upfront medicals which had not expired so I submitted it through the ircc webform and submitted my passport to the vfs Lagos office.
It is been going to three months now and I suddenly saw a refusal message on the 25th of November stating that my
1. My application was rejected because it is not consistent with a temporary stay in canada
2. My course of study is not in line with my past education/ experience.
My question is that is that did they not check all these before they proceeded further with the application or could it just be a mistake from their part?

The refusal looks generic because these refusal should have come earlier in the process or what do you guys think?. I did everything accordingly.

I just got a message from VFS global yesterday that my passport is ready for collection and I seriously doubt there will be a visa appended on it because my application status shows refused.

Please any1 ever experience this and what did you do? I dont mind referrals please as I seriously need advise.

Good evening, please I need advice on what to do. Application was on the 11th of October, I have not done my medical check and the school is to resume on the 9th of January 2023. What should I do? This is the 7th week after biometrics.

If there is, how long did it take for IRCC to update your portal?
