Erecting 1000 billboards per local government won't help Obi - LP won't even come fourth this time around. He tested his popularity on the ground during the guber election and his candidate got less than 2000 votes out of close to a million votes cast. Obi's effect on Lasun was negative because even if I contest for Osun guber under any party without any presidential candidate's support and spending nothing, I would get more than 2000 votes.

Before nko? It's tribal and you igbos (ingrates) made it so with your bigotry and primitive reasoning. If not, why should an average igbo man prefer an Obi, who has done little or nothing to lift you and your entire tribe up, over a Tinubu who created a conducive environment for you to live, trade, and become part of the government in a Yoruba land.

So, the election is tribal since all igbos have decided to sheepishly follow their tribesman. When they lose, they would turn back and start shouting marginalization.
