Just imagine, 1993? And some people are still canvasing for someone who was part of the destruction of this country. We are talking of someone who has been around this fed gov for almost 30 years now. Listen, 30 miserable years. Why do some people like suffering like this? We need something different pls, and that is obviously Obi

Yes we agree but is he supporting it now? Nonsense.

Times have changed.

Then we were still basically a united
country with no issue of shari'a an
religious fanatics and insurgents. We also
had a strong army with good military bleaders.

By 1999, in order to get power, politicians came and divided the country along
ethnic and religious lines. In the north,
Muslim attacks on Christians became a regular
occurrence, finally ending on Buhari
that doesn't trust Christians on
sensitive matters or positions and only
appoints Muslim to head Armed forces,
Finance, Petroleum, agriculture, Customs,
Ports, immigration, Judiciary etc.

Buhari treats Christians as second class
Citizens. So, everyone is now on the
alert as it's clear the intentions of Muslims
isn't good.

And so ? he might have done so in 1993, is he the one doing so today ? the Nigerian sphere in 1993 is it the same as what we haver today ? Tinubu has made a gaffe he will forever regret and 2023 will be a bitter pill for him to swallow

1993 isn't 2023

Nowadays it's no more fanciful or acceptable

Many waters have gone under the bridge in nigeria

Ethnically and religiously Nigerians have been balkanized

Thanks to cow buhari who exacerbated it.

Atiku isn't leaving in the past, that's while he understands the new political intricacies and he's called the Unifier.

Vote AtikuOkowa
Vote PDP

Atiku's business in politics is how to make apex political power to be with his north.
Tinubu’s Muslim-Muslim ticket does not truly ruffle Atiku. It's a win win situation for him.

You can just imagine
in 1993 , we had a military regime in place, and people wanted him out by all means. this is now 20 years after, we have had democracy now for over 19 years, there is no need for a Muslim /Muslim ticket. times have changed and secondly, the nation fragility we have now wasn't on the ground then, it is totally insane for any normal thinking person to support or feel that with the ethnic-religious crisis this nation is battling now, that Muslim Muslim tick is the best option. the only one thinking that way is the old man peeing in his pants contesting under apc, even the dullard president was able to advise him against it , which he thought you and i have no brains to think and to reject it that we will readily dance and welcome his decision. it seems Nigerians are thinking otherwise now

And it has been stated several times that 2023 is not 1993.
The nation has deteriorated badly in several ways since then, one of which is race and religious relations.

We have not done enough in the 30 years since then to sustain that clime of camaraderie and solidarity particularly around a common cause as it was back then in getting military, jackboot rule out.

The present government on which we wish to advance trust across religious divides has been notorious for foisting divisions of all kinds and in many ways that has aggravated insecurity and undermined any hope of such an ideal.

And the worst thing is that over the years since 2015 warnings by the generality of the citizens of this danger were often shouted down and disregarded such that today exclusion is viewed as an agenda and not just a mistake or obtuse behavior.

Too bad that the regime after it has to deal with the fallout.

People should know that Nigeria of today is not the Nigeria of 1993.
In 1993, we never heard of a group of miscreants threatening to abduct a sitting president.
It would have been a serious joke then.
In 1993, we never heard of our debt servicing amount larger than our revenue by over N300B.
The country is in a big mess and only an I*diot we tell you that Nigeria of today is that of 1993.

They keep shouting 1993 Muslim Muslim ticket as if the man that went for it ever became president.

The same way MKO never became president, infact, his faith would better that Tinubu.

The political field is big enough to accommodate both novice and experienced

The experience of Atiku is his forte and strong points

Tinubu is a pathological liar . This same man declared to the delegates when text messages went round before voting that a Tinubu ticket is a Muslim Muslim ticket claiming it was untrue . Now he has presented a Muslim Muslim ticket .
Atiku is saying that Tinubu wanted a Muslim Muslim ticket in 2007. Talks broke down between Buhari and Tinubu in 2011 because Tinubu wanted a Muslim Muslim ticket .

All these show that Tinubu has an agenda that will prove disastrous for Christians if he becomes president .

Nigeria was not this polarized along religious lines in 1993 . Not these days when Christians in churches in the North are targeted and killed . Any Muslim that wants to argue should answer how many mosques has been attacked since Boko haram started

1993, was a different time

In 1993, people just wanted the army out. Even large swathes of the army wanted out of government. Plus, Sdp was seen as favourable to the South, and to Christians, NRC was seen as the party of the 'Northern elite', which in turn made it anathema to Northern Christians.

The same divisions were there...between Muslims and christians as they are now. It was just that Nigeria wanted democratic rule. All our neighbours were changing over to democracies...even poor Niger REPUBLIC...

The entire country didn't mind muslim-muslim at the time. In any event, all three contenders were muslims. Who else do you recommend he steps down for?

The true test of Atiku was when he won the presidential tickets. In all elections that he was the flagbearer, he chose Christian deputies. Ben Obi, Peter Obi and now Okowa.

Tinubu on the other hand is always championing Muslim - Muslim ticket. He tried it with Atiku, tried it with Bihari and now had his way as the flagbearer. Tinubu should stop trying to look for justification and take his impending loss with dignity.

Meanwhile, Atiku will become a president but not in Nigeria

So you're saying they're both desperate? The more reason why everyone needs to vote Peter Obi to save Nigeria.

They said one person "built" Lagos, and Lagos is "paradise". But the person still goes abroad for common medical treatment. And the same Lagos is one of the worst cities to live in the world. Cassava and agbado people are starting to sound like illiterates.
Is the leader of the ipob terrorists not desperate in his bit to become the president of Nigeria?
