I am a northerner and haven't voted cos my ethnic group is not there. A lot of the ethnic groups in the north are not mentioned there so don't expect them to vote.

Gowon didnt make dem Yoruba or Ogoni, they existed centuries b4 Gowon was born, Ur Ikwerre came into being in 1979 for fear of anti Igbo repression after de civil war, damn,, u dont need all these histories cuz u mind has been compromised already

You are quite right. Even Oyo, Ekiti Parapo, Ijebu, Egba, Igbomina, Akoko and others in SW nigeria are not listed. For example, you don't expect an Egba man to be called a Yoruba or someone from Ijebu to click on Yoruba as his ethnic group.

A lot of Igbo people whom I know see Nairaland as a Yoruba website and will not attempt to register in it. Nevertherless, Ndigbo and Yorubas are equally represented here i.e 35% Igbo and 35% Yoruba.
