I can spot their van in the traffic, I'm guessing they got off the van to get the animals out of the way because they know the animals are more valuable than their lives. However, I won't put it beyond them to actually guard a herd of cattle to graze on an actual farm- I have heard and read stories of instances where they actually did it to protect the Fulani herders from being attacked

Can someone actually misunderstand simple English text this much?! So you read my post and you interpreted it to mean the cows came out of the van? It didn't occur to you that the men came out of the van to get the animals out of the way? Where exactly did you read that in my post? Your assumptions and preconceived notions are simply wrong, and therefore, your interpretation of events is incorrect! Learn not to judge people unfairly because it's really crass
