Dear reader, this post is going to be one of the best post you have read today if you are a business owner or Entrepreneur (online/Offline)

1. You don't conduct market research before you decide on the product to sell/present to your audience:

As a vendor; be it online or offline, it is important that you conduct market research if you are to experience increased and repeated sales to your audience. Market research helps you know the exact product or goods your audience want at a specific period of time.

Study reveals that people will only buy from you if the product you present to them will be solving a particular problem in their life.

2. You don't read books on business improvement :

Reading business books goes a long way in your business improvement. The popular quote that says 'Readers are leaders' is true!
When you read books, you get new idea from other people's experience and then apply it to your business.

Study shows that people who read books on business and then implement what they read tend to do well in their business.

3. You don't take time to know your customer avatar :

A customer avatar is the specific group of people your product /goods is meant for. For instance, you cannot advertise the native Yoruba cloth called "Agbada" to teenagers and expect them to buy. What they want at that level are designers.

4. You haven't established KLT factor with your audience :

KLT means Know, Like as Trust. You see, people only buy repeatedly from those they have come to know, like and trust. In fact, been a stranger as a vendor to your intending customers narrows your chance of sales.

5. You have not learnt how to sell:

Yea, you read it right. Selling is much more than you just posting your goods/products directly on social media and start shouting 'bags for sale o' (Lolz) and start expecting large orders from people who don't know you. It's a No!. Selling is a process.

You see these social media we have (Facebook, twitter, Instagram, WhatsApp, etc.) all have specific purpose when it comes to marketing your goods/products. WhatsApp is the best place to establish KLT factor with your audience.
