If a figure is quoted with the intent to deceive the public to act in a particular manner for the benefit of the person doing the quotation then it is a criminal lie. Is this how Peter Obi intends to be lying to the public if by mistake he becomes the president ? We have had enough statistics from him and we all know he is quite lazy because almost 90% of his quoted statistics are wrong. If you are close to him just advise him to air his views and stop quoting any statistics. The statistics he is quoting are working against his chances rather than impressing anyone.

This is pure deceit. Forecasts are projections into the FUTURE. projections about uncertain things that are YET TO HAPPEN. But lies are about the past. Something that HAS HAPPENED.

Now that said, I know it may be uncanny to say PO “lied” because there’s no intent. According to you, you’ll prefer saying “incorrect statistics”. Objectively, you cant be so sure whether he quoted the “incorrect statistics” without a lying intent.
