Skin bleaching side effects
The risks of excessive skin bleaching

The use of skin bleaching solutions over an extended period of time can result in serious inside repercussions as well as noticeable skin damage and scars. The dangers are highlighted by a true account of liver failure and long-term health problems.

The NHS reports that using products containing hydroquinone, corticosteroids, or mercury may have adverse consequences on the skin, including scarring, kidney, liver, or nerve damage, as well as changes in a newborn baby's appearance and behavior (if used during pregnancy).

The overuse of skin-bleaching solutions can result in irreparable harm, and even when bleaching has ceased, the skin may not heal completely.

Many people use skin-bleaching creams to lighten their complexion. However, stopping the use of these products can have consequences.

When you stop using bleaching creams, your natural skin colour will start to return - https://www.yohaig.ng/skin-care/skin-bleaching/what-happens-when-you-stop-using-bleaching-cream/.

This process is called repigmentation. The natural melanin in your skin will become more visible again, causing your complexion to darken. This can happen gradually over weeks or months.

The timing varies depending on factors like your genetics and skin type. As your real skin tone re-emerges, you may notice uneven patches of colour, especially if you have used very strong bleaching products.

It's important to be patient during the transition period. With time, the pigmentation should even out. Moisturizing and using sun protection can help your skin adjust safely.

I really wonder why women downgrade themselves by bleaching.... and risk their long term health. Somehow they look casket ready and don't even know. People should be proud of their natural colour.... dark complexions women don't buy into the popular local nonsense.

Lauryn Hill ..... if she were Nigerian in Nigeria ... dark and dreaded ... what would a parent say should her son introduce her as his fiancee?

Black is beautiful.
