My former landlord's son had one left for him by his late Dad, and sincerely I won't mind buying that one for N1m. It was so neat and well maintained that the guy parks his own 2012 Camry to drive this Benz to work and sincerely it gave him more prestige than the Camry

I think it's too early to call it "Vintage". I still see a few on the roads.

My dad have the V-Boot version parked at a corner in his compound.

My favorite car of all time, both in and out of this ride still dey my brain till date most especially the gear changing.. If in good condition it could go as high as 1m no doubt but I don't think Nigerians right now would pay that price when there's Camry and Corolla in abundance..

I don't think anyone would buy this right now as a first car.

I'd rather prefer Benz 190E as my vinage

That got me thinking, is this popular Benz now considered a vintage car considering how most Nigerian families have one rotting away somewhere in their compound.

Don't know about the 1m but buy and wheels to alloy wheels. Put touch screen deck on inside and give it an ox blood exterior color.

Chai,My big uncle had this car as of 1982,he was importing cars from Germany then , until Buhari struck with his junta and seized all his consignments saying it was against the policy of importing new foreign cars.

Funny my cousin called me to buy this one just last week for N1.2m it's in very good condition. Straight engine, automatic (but no AC unless if the buyer will work in an AC). Zero 8 zero 9 2014 seven eight 5.

But, note:

The hub and axle make the most annoying noise in the world. Pencil Camry is quite quiet.

The AC will blow you more hot air than a cool breeze.

Your visit to the petrol station is increased several folds.

You will be friends with mechanics and rewire and more.

Finally, you will know so much about spare replacements that even Ladipo will know you.

Driving such vehicle is a deterrent to criminals.. No kidnapper will ever stop him or even rob him.. When they see him coming, they would say this guy problem pass our own..
