I buy banana in the evening at the plaza in Uyo almost every day. All these misrepresentations, to what end?

The bananas especially should even be cheaper, considering it's in Uyo.

The plantains and bananas that are sold in Lagos mostly come from the SS.
So because it comes from the SS, then banana is cheap in the SS, abi? Do u know how much expensive anything food stuffs in the SS is, compare to Lagos or any other part of the west?

Though op fit add small salt and maggie join sha, but don't stay in Lagos and conclude for someone living in Uyo, because things are far much expensive in SS compare to Lagos.

Na only house rent cost for Lagos, and na for mainly inside Lagos houses for cost self.
Even renting of houses for SS this days done dey cost pass many areas for Lagos self.

Don't Blame the country when you can't bargain in the market.
You'll get scammed.
Even in Lagos I will get those bananas for 200.
The groundnuts are well priced though. They don't tie 50 naira ones again.

I will only fall for this if you bought it at a Super market.

Na we dey do ourselves.

I remember when growing up, we didn't use to buy fruits cause we had fruits planted in our compound.

Now, we will build house and interlock everywhere.

Why won't fruits become expensive when only a few people now farm them?

Imagine people will cut down mango, pear, udara and coconut tress just to have space to plant flowers .

All the udara tress in my village have all been cut down because one over serious pastor said we should do so because the trees are possessed

Now we buy udara at a ridiculous price in our village in its season
