Exactly the same way they packaged Buhari before 2015 presidential election, they were sending Prof Osibanjo for intellectual functions, while covering Buhari, they've started again.
It would've been best to compare Obi's speech to Tinubu at NBA conference held yesterday, Shettima is not APC presidential candidate, this is same way they packaged Buhari and Osibanjo, they ended up messing Nigeria economy up with huge debt, insecurity and what have you, APC are in charge not opposition, I wonder solution Shettima have for insecurity that he couldn't show to their leader Buhari?
What economy solution do Tinubu have that he couldn't relate with Buhari?
Most of the incompetent ministers and head of agencies it was Tinubu's recommendations to Buhari, like former minister of finance, it was Tinubu that recommended former FIRS boss that stole Nigeria dry, Fashola was ministers of power for four years without tangible achievement in power sector, these are Tinubu's men.
Tinubu largely contributed to Nigeria mess, Nigeria economy is nose diving with huge debt, Nigeria at this time doesn't need wasteful Tinubu, no time for Owambe party at this critical time of our fragile economy, no time for rascality.
Look at Lagos State debt almost half of all the sates in Nigeria and no hope of reducing, Lagos is the smallest State by landmass, with the huge IGR and federal allocation still little to show.
Nigeria at this this stage need Obi with frugal nature to manage our resources, he has been tested and trusted, he has the capacity, the wisdom to change Nigeria bad economy to flourish, before he became governor in Anambra, Anambra State economy was in total mess with high debt profile, he did all his projects without borrowing, cleared all backlogs of salaries, pensions and gratuities by previous administrations, invested for the state and save #75 billion for his successor, reduced Anambra State debt to the lowest in the country

Blackfire:
Lagos is a slum

A slum for generating mega IGR from 20 million Lagosians to the enslaver Amunisin who sees himself as Asiwaju agberos.
Failure and incompetence are synonyms for Thiefnuibu.

The lack of state-owned pipe-borne water in the homes of Lagos residents has continued to be a source of concern, a non-profit group, Corporate Accountability and Public Advocacy Africa (CAPPA) has said.

At a press event to mark this year’s World Water Day, the group said its monitoring team’s visit to state-owned waterworks showed that most of them are not operational.

The group said the waterworks it visited include the ones at Maryland, Mushin, Ikorodu, Obalende, Agbowa, Onikan, Ikoyi, and Amuwo Odofin.

Only the one in Ikoyi is producing water, according to CAPPA.

Findings by Daily Trust Saturday revealed that many traders in different markets across the state defecate in polythene bags or a four-litre paint bucket with cover, which they stuck under slabs along the roads while those who use bucket empty their faeces into nearby gutters, water channels or canals at the close of the day.

Daily Trust Saturday reporter once sighted a full-grown sane man defecating on the Ikeja bridge leading to Mobolaji Bank Anthony Way at about 9am. He was seen bending close to other dry excreta in the full glare of motorists who drove past him.

Aside from open defecation, another common practice is public urination, which takes place virtually everywhere and practiced by all classes of people residing in the state including elite, illiterates, male, female, young and old.

The guiltiest are the men (young and old) as they empty their bladders in the full glare of the public, at any time and anywhere with total disregard for the law against such practice. Commercial bus drivers and conductors while stuck in traffic normally alight to pass urine right on the tarred road by their buses, without considering that the smell of urine can be offensive.

Hoodlums, street urchins and people who are homeless and sleep in open places like under bridges, roadside, shops, markets etc are also guilty of this practice as they freely defecate and urinate anywhere they deem fit.

Heavy Kudos to Sanwo Olu.

PS: you can not expect me to give accolades to another man for another man success! It is day time robbing.

Tinubu was only Governor for 8 years, not 16 years! Stop giving another man's glory to another man!

Those saying legacy; do you think Fashola, Ambode or Sanwo Olu are not humans enough to long for legacies too? Please thinking like illiterate just because you want to defend 30k monthly pay from your pay Master and his fulani superiors.

After marketing Buhari to Nigerians?

You and I know that part of the revenue generated by the Lagos state government is also ending up in some private pockets to keep the "system" going.

As a kenyan , I would very much like to say that the president-elect is not the first young person to lead the country. His predecessor Uhuru Kenyatta was young too at the time of his election...Kenyatta bleeped us over in his last term. Was he young? Yes ... My point is age doesn't matter...
Our 3rd president , Mwai Kibaki left the office at age 80...and upto now , we still aren't sure if there's anyone who matches his leadership skills. Every bit of economic development you see in Kenya was laid by Mwai Kibaki. He was old but he's the king we all wish for.
