Infrastructural stride that pales compared to that of clueless Jonathan and his corrupt PDP?

The All Progressives Congress (APC) yesterday unfolded its power agenda should it presidential candidate, Gen. Muhammadu Buhari, be elected.

The party plans to generate at least 20,000 megawatts (mw) of electricity in four years to surpass Nigeria’s consumption level of around 15, 000mw.

In a statement, the party’s Presidential Campaign Organisation (APCPCO) expressed dismay that the Federal Government under President Goodluck Jonathan had only added 1.400mw to the national grid in four years.

LieDetector:
President Muhammadu Buhari has urged Nigerians to ensure continuity of his regime by voting for the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the 2023 presidential election.

“The forthcoming general elections will provide us with the opportunity to convince the electorate of the need for continuity to enable our party to consolidate on our achievements in the last 7 years,” Mr Buhari said.

The president, according to a statement by his spokesperson Femi Adesina on Friday, disclosed this while receiving a delegation from Nasarawa State.
“The Government and people of Nasarawa State, as usual, have a great role to play in returning our party to governance in the 2023 elections, in order to create a path for greater socio-economic growth and development.

“This is not only important for Nigeria alone but also for the West African Sub-Region,” the president was further quoted as saying.

The power sector just need restructuring...the electricity power should be transfered to the exclusive list to the current list.....it's not today we have been hearing of this huge amount of investment in the power sector...at the end nothing works still lack of power supply in Nigeria... population of Nigeria is too much 200 million nigerians for the national grid to supply 200 million nigerians light...the burden is too much on the national grid that is why the national grid always breaks down and spoils.....state grid, mini grid is needed

You are the bigger mumu because you didn't intelligently oppose my assertion.

That deal died with Abba Kyari. When Chimamanda Adichie asked Angelo Merkel about it, no Nigerian government official responded.

Now a man in the opposition wants to cash in on that and they quickly woke up.

the collaboration between the federal government and the private sector will not only ensure effective coordination of the infrastructure development across the nation, and all sectors of the economy, but also bridge the nation’s infrastructural gaps.

Don't mind them. I thought the deal had died because Govt was mentioning Siemens again. All of a sudden they have remembered Siemens. And as always it is Osibanjo they are using.

This government should not invest or spend any more of Nigeria's money. It has proven to be a desaster, plunging the country into debt and destruction.
They should just chill until a new administration comes in.

lol so because of election campaign and promises you want governance to halt . So your preferred candidates can campaign with the power failure.
Guess what ? The power supply as improved drastically for the past one month . I seriously hope it's the effect of their policies . Right now we have power for 18 to 20+ hour for quite sometimes now.

Infrastructural stride that cannot felt, even the ones available are below "utility" or unaffordable.

how many Nigerian's can afford the rail fare, after installation of new distribution for disco what is the probability the monthly bill rate won't be increased

one thing synonymous with this apc/buhari regime is that make even the basic things luxury for the c'mon man.
the world is going thru inflation, while other leaders are brainstorming on policies to cushion the effect of the aftermath of covid, the only policy on buhari radar is taxation & more taxation

The Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, on Tuesday commended the immediate past administration of ex-President, Goodluck Jonathan for embarking on massive projects that have been beneficial to Nigerians.

Speaking at a Town Hall meeting in Abuja, the former Rivers State governor said his Ministry did not meet any comatose project on assumption of office.

He said the President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration continued the projects of the previous administration because “We realised the impact of the recession.’’
Amaechi noted that the Kaduna-Abuja railway was nearly 80% completed by the Jonathan’s administration.

He said, “In the ministry of transportation, we did not meet anything comatose. We met an attempt to bring back our rail services.

“The Kaduna-Abuja railway was nearly 80% completed which we commissioned and commercial services have commenced.’’

Previous Govts Initiated ‘Most Of The Things This Administration Is Doing’ – Adesina

A majority of the projects the Muhammadu Buhari administration is working on was inherited from previous administrations, the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity has said.

Mr Femi Adesina said this when he appeared on Channels Television’s special Independence anniversary programme on Sunday.

“Most of the things this administration is doing – 60 to 70 percent of them – were initiated by previous governments,” he said.

One of the few good things Tinubu did was to give us Osinbajo.

A man who is Loyal to the core, a man who knows the problem and always profer solutions.

We will miss u After 2023 Prof Osinbajo. You are indeed a great man.

While other politicians are doing Emilokan and disbursing lie lie statistics and trying to make their friends rich.
well I can agree with you on all points about osibanjo except his loyalty, despite the fact that I may disagree with the style of tinubus Monopoly of power in his axis but osibanjo cannot be loyal if he decided to compete and drag vote with his oga for the same position
