In the year 2020 alone, Malaysia earned 36.87 billion Malaysian ringgit from palm produce. Which converted to Naira is about N3 trillion! Is that not enough to put a dent in our national debts?? The palm tree is so under appreciated in this country, especially when u realize that that plant was introduced to Malaysia by the British with only Nigerian palm trees! Most people don’t even know that their vegetable oil used in cooking is made from palm oil, same as chocolates. Nice one from Okowa, I hope whoever comes next does not abandon this project.
