Prof Is-haq Olanrewaju Oloyede is the Secretary of the Supreme Council For Islamic Affairs and current JAMB registrar.
He performed a miracle at the National Mosque Abuja, few years ago.
After every Jumu'at Prayer, it is a normal tradition for the Mosque committee to raise money for running of the Mosque.
Prof Oloyede noticed that money raised after every Jumu'at prayer never exceeded 13k-14k.
This had been for long. So, one day he decided to personally drop 13k inside the box and the notes were marked without the awareness of the collectors. After every collector had gone round the mosque to collect money from as many dignitaries as usually present at the Mosque, the total money raised still didn't go above 13k and the particular notes he personally dropped were missing. OK, no problem!

The following Friday, he came to the Mosque with special boxes, the boxes were locked and the keys to them were kept with him.
As usual, the collectors went round the Mosque as dignitaries dropped their money directly into the boxes and after the whole thing, he opened the boxes and over 400k was realised !
Yeah over 400k !
The collectors disappeared all of a sudden !
This happens almost everywhere.
Love for wealth has turned people against their faith and conscience.
Not only in Mosques, Churches are not left out. Corruption is everywhere.

Though the agency he heads is not rated a revenue-generating one by the government, Oloyede has in the past five years remitted nearly N30 billion to the coffers of the Federal Government as operating surplus from the Board.
Last year, JAMB remitted N3.51 billion to the national treasury as part of its 2021 operating surplus.

Do you have any history or documented evidence of Professor Ishaq Oloyede being a thief?

For all I know, Oleyede might not be a saint but he is definitely a pace setter.

He was my VC throughout my undergraduate days at University of Ilorin and he remains the pioneer of Computer Based Test which went a long way in curtailing sex for marks.

Throughout my undergraduate studies, there was also no single attack/repraisal attacks by cultist. Something that had almost turned to normal prior to his becoming VC.

Throughout his tenure, we never went on ASUU strike but he made sure our lecturers enjoyed all dividends approved for ASUU by FG.

Unlike other Universities, throughout his tenure, convocation was every 22/23 October. I gained admission September 2008 and convocated 22 October 2012. In fact during our 100 level, lecturers jokingly told us as science students our stay in the University is represented by the equation 4+x. X can be 0 if you scale final year without carryover. X can be 1 if one "spills", it can be 2 if one slashes and so on.
All this l have seen.

Poverty is never an excuse to steal. Someone with billions in his/her account can still still more or hijack properties of orphans and yet we have seen poor people with nothing to eat; yet refused to steal or return huge lost amount of money to owners. Theft is the eyes of theif. Get your mentality corrected in case you also have mind to steal and hide under poverty. Poor people will never cease to exist, jungle justice to stealing may end in unexpected death. Be wise and fear God in all your ways!
