The government will continue to borrow to fill the gap. A clueless government that doesn't know how to make money or stop corruption can never be able to have a positive balance of trade. Ever!

There are no real shortfalls perse. What is going on is nothing but pure looting. Since the inception of the Evil Buhari regime, all they have been doing is loot loot loot! Practically looting everything in sight to develop Niger republic their motherland. None of them in Abuja or in the core northern Nigeria political establishment, believes in the continuous existence or workability of this epileptic country. They all know that the country is bound to cave in under the immense iniquitous weight of the inept and unskilled ruling oligarchy. So once in power, they create their own "Ministry of Finance" and then useraw power to unleash a devilish kleptomaniac run on the Nations finances, in other to stark up resources for their northern agenda/future. Same reason they're not sharing revenue from their solid minerals nor opening up investments in their hydro carbon deposits.

Tinupoo seem to have noticed this too and has prepared his crooked politics for this agenda too. They're all in a desperate bid to loot everything in sight. That's the reason for the shortfalls not just mere corruption. The people entrusted with the responsibility to guard the treasury are the ones doing the looting. When this country voted in the APC into power, the country inadvertently gave the keys for the fish basket to rats and cockroaches.. It's now a "Turn by Turn Lootocracy"! The two regions who have taken turns to mismanage Nigeria since their assumption of power 1966 are still at it; producing their best looters to help them use power to loot the resources of the country, since the resources do not come from their regions.
