Stupid Governor Ayade, he is still owing several months of arrears of salaries and refused to implement the new minimum wage for workers in cross river state till date. Some workers in Cross River have been working for the Cross River State Government for more than 5 years now, and they have not still being payrolled by this Ben Ayade Led administration, but he was busy buying presidential form. Most of the state government workers are just suffering and smiling in nigeria, rather than ayade doing the needful, he is busy behaving like a clown with this his lockout fiasco. |

This situation reminds of a story my friend told me about once, he said there was a time a newly installed commander of a brigade who is a brigadier General by rank gave an order that the barracks should be close by 9pm at nights. According him he said when ever there is a commander of a command or base is around his/her flag his flown except there was another senior officer whose rank is higher than that of the commander, by that time the senior officer flag is flown instead of that of that of commander of the base to signifile the presence of a senior officer. So in this case a major General was in the base at the time the commander gave this command he didn't inform senior officer about his new command that the Barracks be closed by 9pm with nobody going in or out, so one time the major General came back late at half pass nine and wanted to enter the Barracks the soldiers at gate informed him about the order and that they can't allow him inside except he could contact the commander. at that time the senior officer told the soldiers at gate not worry and they should carry out this order to the fullest and also keep him posted about the going in and out of the commander and that anytime the commander came late pass 9pm they should immediately inform him. So one day the Commander came late pass nine the soldiers at the gate inform him that he gave an order that nobody to come in to the barracks once it 9pm and that there another command from the senior officer that order should be carry out to the fullest , the commander gut angry and said to soldiers who is in charge and that he is the commander and that they should open the gate and so he forced himself in. then soldiers at the gate inform the the senior officer what has happened and he told them not worry, immediately the senior officer put a call to army headquarters millitary police department that the brigadier General (base commander) and told them what had happened. Immediately MP where sent to arrest the brigadier General for flouting his own commands(order) not only that he lost the command of the base. |

Elo4:Moon light tales. Whether you're a commander of a garrison or brigade or holding whatever appointment rank, you cannot lock out a senior officer and confidently show it to is face by making the order stand. Once the info gets to you that a senior officer is out there, nobody will tell you what to do. |

This is nice but it's leadership problem. I once have a boss who is always punctual even without him taking any punitive measures all the staff adjusted their ways because no one wants to be sacked. Good leaders will bring about good follower. God help us. |
