Federal public service is very different from the state service. Any minister that want to take on the civil servant will run into trouble sooner than later. Umahi needs to calm down and work with the ministry staff if he intends to achieve anything meaningful in the ministry.

These are the bunch of people that have vowed that Nigeria will never move forward.
Umahi style of leadership has denied them all the kickbacks they use to collect hence the protest.
They are probably sponsored by corrupt politicians/contractors.

This is first time since 1999 that a seasoned civil and construction engineer is heading the ministry of works. The minister needs to stand his ground if he going to bring the much needed transformation to our road infrastructure.

Umahi with the support of Tinubu can do without all of them. In the first instance those thieves don't do anything at the Secretariat apart from collection of bribese

Enemies and saboteurs are always within.

They reign supreme in every MDA of the government.

Making the system work is nearly impossible because the ones you'd be depriving of their freebies won't just fold their arms and watch while you render them jobless in their thieving enterprise.

The story of the entity known as Nigeria.

You people will always find excuse..instead of you to condemn them for being late to work which has been their usual way, you decided to make excuse for them. How is federal ministry different from state ministry? So federal workers have the right to report late to work despite being paid salaries at the end of the month?

See dem, if not for corruption, most of these people supposed to have abandoned their work without waiting for NLC or TUC strike notice. How are they coping with their salaries in this Tinubu economy? Why will a ministry lock workers out due to lateness during this subsidy period when some workers have been allowed to only come to office 3 times max in a week. I can see this ministry experiencing a total lockdown when the proposed strike kick off
