This is miscarriage of justice. How can INEC accept someone that didn't contest for primary election.

This ruling is vague. It has no sound legal rooting in law. What it means now is that political parries can conduct a shambolic primary, choose a pig and INEC is bound to accept the pig as the party"s candidate. Inec"s role as supervisory body is toj ust sidon look.

Re: Court Orders INEC To Accept Akpabio As APC Senatorial Candidate by ECHICHE: 6:00pm On Sep 15, 2022
Certainly, the Supreme court will set aside all these cash and carry lower court decisions.

The 2022 new Electoral Act is very clear about it.
No candidate can fill party form for 2 constituencies.

Akpabio obtained APC intent form for Presidential and at the same time obtained senate form.

Once you participate in one primary election, that is the end.....no more.

Akpabio is just buying time using tax payers money

APC members always run to court for succour. I know the Iragbiji son hope on supreme court when he failed woefully next year...but the truth is that, nothing will change.

Tinubu cannot lose 2023 election to Atiku, Peter obi is inconsequential here

So much chaos, impunity, lawlessness, judicial anarchy and brigandage in this nation. Let the supreme court decide this matter fast.

People can talk nonsense shaooooo.
Instead of seeking to know the truth they are busy spewing gibirish.
Mike Igini caused problems in Akwa Ibom State during the primaries, and was outrightly a biased umpire by romancing with APC faction not recognized by the national body, which he even admitted.
INEC was duly informed with valid documents (evidence) about the date, venue and time of APC primaries in Akwa Ibom State by the INEC recognized APC faction but Igini went to the venue of the unrecognized faction to cause problems for APC.

It's glaring that money had been collected by the judge. With this judgement, the judiciary is indirectly telling Nigerians that the electoral umpire in Nigeria is not fit for the job. This is disgusting, I swear!
Re: Court Orders INEC To Accept Akpabio As APC Senatorial Candidate by Nobody: 7:21pm On Sep 15, 2022
It you talk, you go die! if you nor talk you go still die! So, it is always nice to identify with the truth. The threat to democracy, today in Nigeria, is the judiciary. To compound this threat, it's when the judgement is been pronounced by an Ibo judge. See, to be very frank, the Ibos are lovers of money, and as a result of this, they are extremely corrupt. They are ready to cheat you at all cost. It is just by his grace, some of us are supporting Obi for president. God help us!

Things you see in a corrupt country. Where is the new electoral act that says no candidate can contest for two different primaries in the same year.

There's no need having faith in this country to get better

Which section of the electoral act?
