Omoyele Sowore has denied the request from the Nigerian Police asking him to plead with protesting University students to open the Lagos International Airport Road.

The presidential candidate of the AAC is heard in the video saying he can't negotiate that request with the NANS body leading the protest. The Police Boss however pleaded that point has been made as the students have blocked the road for over 7 hours.

It's simply lawlessness. Exercising a constitutional right by denying others theirs yet he's vying to rule that same country.

It is from Chapter 4 of the CFRN 1999 that these mediocre students derive their right to freedom of association to protest.

The same Chapter 4 of the CFRN 1999 guarantees Nigerian citizens the freedom of movement across the country.

Flight tickets are expensive these days for a group of young people to block innocent Nigerians from going to their destinations.

I implore the Nigeria Police Force to use reasonable force to disperse that show of shame at Lagos' airport road today. To maintain law and order, government institutions must perfectly balance conflicting fundamental rights in the society.

No competent court anywhere on Earth has ever ruled that Freedom of association to protest is better than freedom of individuals and goods to move in their fatherland.

Move your freaking protest to the gates of the National Assembly or the ASUU headquarters where you won't hinder hardworking people from moving.

Sowore should be arrested and prosecuted for sedition and treason.

Then the motorist should go through a different road, or better still trek to the airport.

Are you guys thinking what I am thinking. The government is not using there normal style of force and trying a civil approach because of election. E clear for their eyes. Tinubu would have sent his louts if this were to be 3 years or even one year ago. Atiku or Obi I am fine.

My problem is that the protest and blocking the airport road will also affect innocent citizens that want to use the flight for their legitimate personal business, missing their flight would affect their businesses one way or the other and can even cause loss of business for them.

The whole thing was supposed to be be channel to an area that would only affect government, like stopping national assembly sitting or blocking Aso rock gate.

Government need to feel the effects more so that they can ensure that this strife is over.

Imagine student sitting at home for six months without school, some might even start contemplating on abandoning the school.

They should block it when president or VP is travelling to the airport.
Let him address them

Senseless talk. If thousands of citizens decide to protest then tell me where would the vehicles on the road move to. Or you expect the protesters to protest in sky. Protest automatical would result to restriction of movement except they are few people doing the protest. As if APC protest did not prevent restriction as an opposition party.

If labour party is smart enough, they could have join the students all over the country by doing that, they will win more people.

Is like labour party is not interested in grassroot mobilization.

Exactly what the lagos landlord was expecting so he can unleash his tout to disrupt the protest and later blame it on Labour Party as a discredit to the party..

It is illegal to block Roads when Protesting

You can Protest but don’t use it to block other People’s freedom

This could easily lead to Violence

This was the type of Protest that some People hijacked to Launch a very

Cowardly Terrorist Attack on Lagos in 2020

Govt should reduce Senators Benefits and give ASUU what they asked for

DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA HOW ACCOUNTABLE ASUU HAS BEEN WITH WHAT THE GOVT HAS BEEN GIVING?

so that the topic will be "Peter Obi blocks government roads leading to over #1.2trillion loss of government revenue in 14hours" cheesy so that APC will use it as an advantage right...

NooO...Obi will not fall for this trap, if as a students and still supporting APC, then that's fine...
