Is it the court that will pay ASUU members the outstanding 7 months salary? I'm sure this is a judgement passed by the industrial court which I know will be appealed by ASUU..Does a government who does not obey court order expect ASUU to obey the same court order? Time shall tell! ASUU can also decide to honor the court judgement for 24hrs,then go on strike again the next day.

They can't be wiser.

ASUU should know buhari is very stubborn.
He kept contesting election until he won
He retained ministers for 7 years in spite of their glaring failure
He refused to admit ganduje stole money even with video evidence
He kept traveling on medical tourism
He refused to speak to Nigerians on live tv
He kept borrowing even if you cry forever
He maintained aloofness during the primary elections

I can go on and on

buhari says no work, no pay and you think he will change his mind?

Hope you are prepared to resume when he hand over to the next president?

Do you think the lecturers will lecture properly? On a normal day, these lecturers show nonchanllant attitude towards the teaching of the students ,now you are using the court to force them to go to classes. My take is that dialogue is still the best way of solving issues like this because sooner or later ASUU will still go on strike again, in other words, the strike continues..

ASUU will call off, but i doubt if they will start from where they stopped, that is if they agree to lecture..

The way i see it
even if they don’t teach, they will still set exams, promote and graduate students.

court proceedings will continue while students are in classroom. this is just a half-time court ruling.

No. I am talking about what is doable in the long run and within the confines of the law. What you have now is more like a stop-gap. It’s a kick-and-start measure that won’t guarantee the much sought after peace and stability in the public university system.

They started the strike at this time with the hope that Buhari will have every reason to campaign for Tinubu and APC in general.

do you even understand legal proceedings ? ASUU can’t take this case to supreme court unless it goes through appeal court first. and it is an interlocutory injunction meaning NO APPEAL allowed concerning this injunction to resume. they can only appeal the final verdict as the court case has not ended yet.


And buhari cannot use the interlocutory injuction to fix just one thing in his 8 years Even if it is only 24 hours power supply �
