The National Alliance for Atiku and Okowa , a political support group canvassing for the presidential ambition of Atiku Abubakar has promised to deliver 2 million votes for the PDP across the federation.

Hon. Paul Ukwenya, the national organising secretary of the group in Lokoja made the disclosure after a one day retreat by the PDP kogi state chapter.

The retreat with the theme: Strengthening Party Structures Ahead of the 2023 General Elections had the former Senate president Pius Ayim Pius as key note speaker.

The former senate president in his speech said the retreat was indeed timely as the commencement of political campaigns for the 2023 general elections is just few days, as it will prepare the candidates vying for various elective offices at both the Federal and State levels for positive engagements with the people towards responsible and effective representation and service delivery.

Hon. Paul Ukwenya, a former council chairman of idah and grassroot mobilizer spoke to the press after the retreat and said the group National Alliance for Atiku and Okowa is determined to deliver 2 million votes for Atiku across the 6 geo political zone of the federation.

Ukwenya also thanked the North Central coordinators for the work done in gathering massive support for Atiku at the grassroot level.

He also assured electorate to focus on kicking out the APC lead government out of power as the crisis presently rocking the PDP will be resolved and the party will form a formidable team ahead of the 2023 presidential election
