Word Encounter #47 - How are We Faring? (An Urgent Message to God's Remnant Church)

Brothers and sisters, we must now answer this pressing question as a church: How are we faring?

Unfortunately, the truth is that we have not fared well. We have let the world creep into the church. We have allowed the pillars of our faith to be brought down, all in a bid to appear "relevant". Take heed! The church of God is not, and must not be treated as an experiment that can be adjusted to various environmental factors! There must now be a revival of primitive godliness among God's people. The Church of God must retrace its steps to the very foundation of truth upon which it was established.

God's remnant church is known as one that keeps the commandments of God and has the testimony of Jesus. This is the foundation of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, and a commitment to these principles was the guiding light of the early Church. But how, when and where did we stray from the truth? Can we honestly assess ourselves as a church and say we have fared well?
