Another seriously flawed logic.

If democracy is the criteria for rating a country as developed (since all the agencies and organizations doing the ratings no longer uses 1st, 2nd or 3rd countries), then how would you rate Saudi Arabia, a monarchy which the UN HDI rated as a developed nation?. undecided
oga which world a country is had nothing to do with developmentundecided

See as you have brought links here. You even added a screenshot, so you are not dull afterall. I was beginning to think you were.

Now do the same (links, screenshots e.t.c) to support the claim of your Minion that China is a first world country. We will be waiting.

First, learn to be smart by stopping to use the term "first world" for Christ sake. It's Developed or developing country now.

Secondly, China don't even give a dime about whether anyone classified it as developed or developing nation. They're even happy to be called a developing nation for reasons we will see shortly.

Now, go and read up some of the replies I wrote about this and see why I said even the United Nations HDI bases of ratings is flawed, and as such China can never be ranked as developed nation based on the said limited indices. But that is just for the HDI.

The WTO has it's criteria of rating a nation as developed or developing as well, which is totally different from that of the UN HDI. The WTO criteria is " it is entirely up to the Goodwill of member nations to classify themselves as Developed or Developing". And guess what China did? cool They happily loved to be called a 'developing' nation because it enable them to enjoy the same special and differential treatment afforded to nations like Papua New Guinea and Zimbabwe. grin This thing dey make US vex die to the extent they have called for a reform of the WTO because China they use am pack money and privilege anyhow. grin The bastards Chinkos even calls it a "fundamental right" to be labelled a developing country. grin

See it here:

https://www.abc.net.au/news/2019-04-11/why-china-is-still-categorised-as-a-developing-country/10980480

Now, like I said before in other replies, here China is a developed nation in respect of many other indices. Here are some academic professors that classified China as a Developed nation:

You're not making sense.

You said a country had to be a democracy to be called a developed country, then I pointed out to you that Saudi Arabia isn't a democracy but is classified as developed. How about that?

Dumbass. It was one of your nkita on the first page that 1st used that term. Direct your education to your nkita.

- If you knew this, then why were you rooting for someone that says China is a "1st world country" ?
- Instead of correcting him/them that "according to ideological differences", China is/was a 2nd world country.

I am just curious.

You caught him there. He would likely type a long story about Robinson Crusoe to deflect your question.

I told them that from the beginning but they refused to believe or accept it even though it's all over the web.

For instance, the moment the Soviet Union and the Warsaw Pact collapsed, nations such as Bulgaria, Hungary and Poland who later joined up with western organizations like the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), become known as developed nations.

It's just a matter of ideological difference ...

Okay, but do you agree with the correct usage now?

The truth hurts.

Ideological difference doesn't negate the real fact.

For instance, same previous Eastern Bloc countries like Hungary and Poland that were once tagged less developed by the western bloc became tagged as developed by same western bloc after they joined the western economic organizations like the OECD following the collapse of the Soviet Union. That's the demonstration of the ideological difference at play.

You were the Devil's advocate on this topic. You kept leading on those that were arguing that China was a 1st world country or think it wasn't a 2nd world country.

What truth. That those you argue for on here did not believe that China is not a first world country? Clown
