In Nigeria today, we have so many traditional leaders whose influence and respect can never be underestimated, even by top political leaders. My Question is, which of these traditional leaders in Nigeria today are the most influencial and respected?

hate him or love him the sultan of sokoto remains the most influential traditional and religious leader in Nigeria.

The sultanate besides being the pre-eminent traditional stool in sokoto is also regarded as leader of Nigeria's estimated 60 million muslims
