You guys dont even follow the news at all!
The current administration threw out the PDP negotiation with ASUU done in 2009 and did a fresh negotiation by setting up two committees!
The first was done in 2021 where the Jibril committee negotiated with ASUU and recommended in a report to the presidency which was eventually thrown out by the same presidency!
The second was done in February 2022 by the Nimi Briggs committee set up by the same presidency who also negotiated with ASUU and made a recommendation in the eventual report to the presidency....The same report was thrown out by the presidency!
If they know that they cannot not abide by their agreement, why set up two committees who made recommendations to them?
This has nothing to do with Obj or PDP but the inability of an administration to abide by a simple agreement!
Please inform them.

Like it is widely said, you can't support this government and not be stu**p*I'd.

Trash talk.

Fvck ASUU

Then go and recruite your own Lecturers and also travel to Nigel Republic and bring in students .......
And You know TINUBU knows how to recruite easily with AGbado and few poverty foods ....

This is what APC has got to over Nigerians ......people with wicked minds

Modified;

What concerns A FULANI man with Education
Even Yorubas that are known to be good in education far back have seen how MC OLUMO Rose from grass to Grace in Agbero work through the help of TINUBU, and some which you are part of , have left Education to perish unlike how Yorubas strived in the 80s in Education....

So Buhari knows the only set of people suffering in this education issue are people from South South and South East , with a little still serious ones from South West ......

They all know the game they are playing, while their own children graduate from Abroad Universities, the children of the masses are on strike since February 2022…...

All you can say is Bleep ASUU
The same person am praying that Nigeria will be well one day with....... Nonsense

You mean the one ASUU pursued representatives from ministeries of finance and education and fixed their salaries at 180% increment.

You want them to forfeit their own income to satisfy ASUU?
ASUU would have been getting theirs too had they not abscond from work.

If we cut the salary and allowances of the big men...at best we would have 500bn naira. universites need something of at least 1-3trillion naira.

Plus what do we do when we finish spending the money we have taken from the big men...how do we get more?

Universites eat money well well, even if you remove corruption out of the equation. They are centers of research, which means they need a heavy amount of income to keep up facilites for that purpose, and expand them. Then they need to house and feed an increasing number of students wanting an education, as well as build classroom, library and entertainment facilites for them, and provide some form of welfare, and pay for power and water supply, among other things.

All of which costs more than just taking money from big men....and we should in my opinion reduce government spending and fight corruption.

How many percentage of the funds that are being pumped into the universities are being used judiciously?
The university system is corrupt and they embezzle even the little the government is putting in, that's why things are as worse as this

Which is why I said..we got to fight corruption.(My saying fees should be raised does not mean I am blind to internal corruption).

Plus, ideally...if fees were raised, and universities got autonomy...they would improve , since stealing money would impede their performance.

So they don't have their own responsibilities and families to take care of?
Why can't ASUU stop crying and forget about begging to be paid for their 7 months out of work and go back to work too
You think the lecturers and other university staff don't steal money meant for universities infrastructures?
This whole thing is deeper than your shallow and watery brain.

Even TINUBU lost his primary and secondary school certificates from Abacha Soldiers.....

The same TINUBU lost all his classmates from Primary to secondary school from the same Abacha Soldiers that slaughtered memory out of them to remember Tinubu was their classmate.....
In the whole Nigeria, nobody could come out to say he schooled with TINUBU .....

It's different now, after the court order any continued ASUU strike will be deemed illegal, unlike before.
Some lecturers will resume while some won't. Things will get messy for a while before stability is attained, but ASUU as a union won't remain the same after everything.

Nigeria is a third world country, anyone who has money would prefer to send their kids/wards abroad. It is not limited to government or politicians alone.

Nigerians generally don't take government works seriously, because they know they will get their alerts no matter what. That's why the lecturers are using outdated syllabus and materials, and most of them come for lectures only when they feel like, these are part of what contribute to the production of half-baked graduates.

ASUU will lose something too this time around, and the stubborn ones among them will lose everything. Any one of them who is not satisfied with the current terms of employment should seek for better jobs in Oxford and Cambridge to continue their randy, indolent lifestyle there

Not paying them their 6 months strike will make them more reasonable before declaring another strike in the nearest future,
(II) It will enable them to give more listening hears to what the government has to offer quicker, rather than standing on what they want!
ASUU has refused to call off the strike because the Federal government is not willing to pay them their 6 months salary arrears.
Where is it done that a union will declare 6 months strike, and still be expecting a salary for work not done?
