maureensylvia: It happened in June this year, he deserted, tried calling him it was unreachable, His family and the police didn't help either.
I got the idea of complaining to his bank, I went to his bank on August (Access bank) they asked me why I didn't come all these while that he withdrew the last part of the money 4 days before I came!!! E pain me shaa o
The customer care directed me to court to get a court order to restrict the account, I went to court, got the court order(pics displayed) paid them 10% of the total money. The bank restricted his account.
Yesterday afternoon, I got a call to come over to the bank...the guy was trying to make a transfer but he couldn't which warranted him to go to the bank... The customer care told me he has 80% of the money in his account that with my consent, they'll unfreeze it and pay me or I can wait till it's complete and take all... they were certain because it's a salary account... money must enter.
Though the guy pleaded with me to be paying 20k monthly buy omooorr I don't think I'll have such patience. The bank told him to be paying the 20k into his account till it completes.
so the ball is now in my court
All thanks to Access bank

You should have collected the 80% and then wait for the remaining percents. If he stops using the account to receive salary, you may lose the whole money. #Do ensure he pays for all the expenses (time, money and stress) it took to freeze his account. 1 Like 1 Share |

shortIGBOman: This can only happen in the North. You see how things work in the North. The Court you approached is in Kano and the access Bank that helped you recover your money is in Kano too.
This is almost impossible, if it were in the South and if it were in the EAST, just forget your money. Cause you can never recover your money from there.
God bless the North for their uprightness. stop all this bad belle. you are just ignorant. I stayed in the south and I have recovered money from countless of scammer by just making complaints to my bank customer care 1 Like |

She could pay charges but not a certain percentage of what she wants to recover.
So if someone scammed her of a million. Shed have to start looking for 100k just to get justice from the court.
Shouldn't work that way. Anyways, we all know our justice system is fvcked so I don't expect anything different. See no one said it was normal but what they would have probably told her was that it was charges as against what she said. No court of law will make that mistake except she met some crooks unofficially and anyone who loves his or her career and freedom won't try such. Cos such staff will just enjoy free ride to the next correctional center that same day the matter is discovered . 1 Like 1 Share |

Go to the fraudsters bank, they'll direct you to the court, *The court should be in the guy's state.* Then provide proof of transaction Thanks so much. This fraudster is an online person. That means, I cannot know the state, but it definitely must be in Nigeria. ... (I think I should head to Federal High Court) |

You can do it on your own You don't need any solicitor 2months is still fresh Go to the fraudsters bank They'll direct you to the court I prefer magistrate court You'll be charged 10% of the total amount owed. A court order will be issued to you. Take it back to the bank, the fraudsters account will be freezed. Any attempt for him to make a transfer will be impossible. Any money that's in his account will be reverted to you till it's complete 1 Like 1 Share |

That's the way to go. That creep should be spending some time in jail on a good day! Just imagine that...running off with your hard-earned money while still living in Kano which is the same state where you are based. He's such an ode. Due dilligence should be your keyword from here on out. |
