Even if the receipt fails to prove who between Morenike and Dotun paid for the assets, the receipts will at least show the assets were not purchased by the late Dotun and kids' mother.

The only thing is Dotun's family may get a share of the assets if Morenike is unable to prove she alone paid for the assets. But as for the family winning the assets for the 2 kids, it is legally, traditionally and religiously impossible.

Dotun must have bought the properties in the name of the child he got out of wedlock since his wife is barren and Morenikeji is lying that she bought it because dead men tell no tales.

This is why I am always paranoid around people! There is no evil under the sun that mankind is not capable of.

Issues:
The wife and the husband agreed to buy properties in the name and for the benefit of their yet to be born child.

The child did not arrive.

Mr dotun fraudulently suggested this name because it's the name of a child he had with another woman.

Mr dotun died intestate.
There is the case of fraudulent misrepresentation.

Question
If two parties agree to perform an act that is rested on the happening of an event is the act or decision valid if the event did not happen? The answer is no.

Conclusion
The basis of the decision between morenikeji and dotun was that they would have a child together that will bear the name and inherit the properties.

The none arrival of the child renders the decision nugatory. Therefore the property rights reverts back to the original investors. Hence dotun died intestate and the marital agreement between the couple does not recognize the child dotun had outside wedlock, morenikeji effectively claims complete ownership.
