Atiku restructuring is about keeping the present political structure where Arewa soldiers proliferated 19 states and Abuja in one region - north, but allowed only 17 states in the 2 southern regions. The fraudulent political structure consigned enormous Political and Economic advantages to Atiku's northern region, but castrated the two southern regions politically and economically.
Land mass or population figures is never a criterion to proliferate too many new federating units like states in one area with larger land mass or population, in a country originally formed by different regions. There should have been equal number of states between the 3 regions that formed independent Nigeria in 1960.
Atiku wants to perpetuate the fraudulent political structure through his type of political restructuring.
