Ezeokafor, Ezeife, others storm Aguluezechukwu

…as Pompido gives daughter in marriage


It was a gathering of political juggernauts in Aguluezechukwu in AGUATA LGA as Nze Obumneme Oguejiofor (Pompido) gave out his only daughter’s hand in marriage.

Among the dignitaries in attendance was Honourable Emma Ezeokafor, the YPP AGUATA Federal House of Representatives hopeful flanked by the YPP AGUATA 2 house of assembly hopeful among others.

Emma NwaMaria, while congratulating Pompido, prayed the Almighty to bless the new home with all marital blessings.

Addressing a gathering of AGUATA political heavyweights in attendance, Ezeokafor stated the need for politics without bitterness. In his words, “I will love that you create a forum where all aspirants can come and share their plans for AGUATA if sent to the green chambers and then you can make more intelligent choice of who should represent you.”

Speaking on behalf of all AGUATA indigenes in attendance, the chairman of AGUATA North Forum, Chief Okeneigbo Umeanuka who was seated with the Chairman of APGA in AGUATA LGA, applauded Hon. Ezeokafor’s suggestion and promised to follow up the suggestion.

“I love what you said about our attitude to politics. I would love a situation whereby whoever loses among you embraces whoever wins and works with him instead of contesting the win. Let’s all be brothers regardless of our political affiliation. In AGUATA Political Forum, we are not about political party but about personality,”

High points of the event were the formal presentation of the bride to the groom and his people and the posing for pictures with one another.
