Mind you that Tinubu has done alot just like How Bola Tinubu’s achievement as Lagos governor may take him to Aso Rock Twenty-four years ago, Bola Ahmed Tinubu would stand in Isolo, Oshodi LGA, to lead his campaign for governor of Lagos State. Standing before over 20,000 people at the former federal capital where he once served as a senator, Tinubu reeled out his plans for the 1999 elections, the problems he wanted to solve in office, and his vision for Lagos. “I have come to change the story,” he said. “We will develop education, health, security, and empower youths and women to make Lagos work for all.” Over the next five months, almost one million people would sign up to vote for Tinubu for a better Lagos. Working together, traders, community leaders, commercial motorcycle riders, and civil servants built a strong network that stretched across all the LGAs and ultimately led to Bola Tinubu – a returning NADECO chieftain from exile – being elected governor with the most votes ever given any candidate in Lagos history. It was the beginning of a history that #MyAsiwajuStory now tells of Tinubu and Lagos—and the one that continues to spur meaningful conversations as Nigeria heads to the 2023 polls. Why is it so? As greatly as his tenure was judged, what has been even more impressive was what followed. Many former cabinet members, colleagues, students, young people, traders and the less privileged who were impacted positively by his government have been giving testimonies. They went on to serve in government, or float businesses, founded non-profits, joined the private sector, or found ways to serve their community. Many still draw inspiration from their experiences as a testament to what we can accomplish when we’re willing to elect credible and competent leaders saaron: |

BornStoic: You are very delusional! where has your candidate been with his so call vision all these while...why has he not applied it since 2015 they took over power? He has been the one running Lagos, why has he not come up with this since? While now? He has been blind all along while pocketing Lagos, just to wake now he is contesting with dead unrealistic innovation to influence gullible people like you into voting him. When you exhaust whatever they have given you, your eye will clear. Keep deceiving yourself |

Suleimanbando: Ogbeni stop the lie that he developed Lagos. Lagos was far developed from the 70s oil boom and it was the federal capital since 1914 till 1990 total of 76 years and it enjoyed massive infrastructural investments from FG. Please stop all these lies that he developed Lagos abeg. |

Greek gift. They will give you this for election and dollar will climb to 10,000 naira while more hardship takes it's toll on you if you mistakenly vote for him. Has he been able to solve the poverty and illiteracy amongst his followers in Lagos for ages is what you should be asking yourselves. The man is a desperate and greedy old man that feels he can buy his way into the presidency and pocket Nigeria just like he pocketed Lagos state. |

Suleimanbando: A man that has refused to allow Lagosians elect the people they desire but has consistently chosen who they must elect for them. A man that foisted this present mistake of an administration on Nigerians and yet refused to speak against all the missteps of the administration all because he desperately needs their help in his bid to become president if that is not desperation I don't know what it is. A man that also refused to blame herdsmen when they invaded the west but always sought to deflect the blame to others while casting his people under the bus to be killed is that not desperation? What about his alphabeta that he is using to fleece Lagos state? Is that not greed? A man that made his wife a senator and his daughter iya-oloja and is probably scheming to make his son a future governor is that not a greedy oaf? |

CheapHomes1:I thought you are an Obidient. Meanwhile asking and questioning Tinubu's brilliance is strange to kids. Maybe you were not up to at least 10 years btw 199-2007. His record in Lagos is evergreen. Soon, he ll be dishing them out. So no one should shout Photoshop or documented. There are records of musicians who sang after his achievements btw 1999-2003. There are video mad images as well as those in Lagos state archives and projects that are still existing that's commissioned on Tinubu's name as governor of Lagos state btw 1999-2007. I won't say more. |
