Government ehnnnn, the jobs and investment, they won't do, people that are ready to do it, they will still be disturbing them. If Dangote leave the site for them can they handle it, the imo government palm kernel and coconut farm, where is it today. What message are they trying to pass to other investors.

Dangote keep investing in the country despite it's Downfall, this is unlike most billionaires, even Nigerians don't appreciate.

if I'm the with my temper, I will even stop building the refinery, the government should keep importing fuel and cement.

Unfortunately, those in government don't care about things like that. Infact they love how we import fuel as more money can be stolen.

Dangote has enjoyed ridiculous monopolies found no where else in the world .

I am with Yahaya Bello on this one. Dangote is an outrageous ilegal monopoly which should only exist in fantasy movies and comedy

You are with a thieving corrupt politician who has brought zero jobs to his people versus a man who employs hundreds of thousands of Nigerians, all tribes?

If all of this is correct why is Yahaya Bello not approaching a court of law to resolve the issue?

Why resort to extra judicial resolution of an issue that is based on a contract?

It looks to me like our politicians only talk about the rule of law when it suits them so to do. This is a matter that is fully amenable to the rule of law and should be so resolved. The courts are also able to direct Dangote Group to pay the Kogi State government all of its accumulated dividends and back taxes.

Yahaya should head to the courts but leave the factory open and running.

How is this related to what you are saying. The means of settling dispute as stated in the agreement is via arbitration, why would Kogi State result to self help using vigilante to lock a running factory up.

One of the claims from the Kogi State government is that Dangote used the State Government name and documents to collect a loan of 600Billion which he he used to fund the Cement Company.

Really I think the question should be is DIL paying tax to kogi state government after the expiration of the 7 years tax waiver period?? Is kogi state contributing it's 10% quota in terms of funding? If yes are they receiving their dividends? This is not matter of emotion or sentiment. There was an agreement which may have been breached by both parties. Know this and know peace

The government that came after Prince Abubakar Audu caused this. They refused to invest in the company because they didn't want to continue with Audu's legacy. Ibrahim Idris' plan was to build a different cement factory in Itobe. Now they are crying foul. Dangote invested a billion dollars to make Obajana what it is today!!
